Mae had a general understanding of what had happened to Jean. She reached out and patted her shoulder in a comforting manner, saying, “Tonight, I’ll make sure you get into the Gray family.”
Before Jean could react, Mae had already walked in Mark’s direction.
“Look, Mae is coming over to Mr. Smith.”
A girl not far from Mark exclaimed excitedly. Although her voice was not loud, those nearby could still hear it, including Mark, who clearly heard the words.
“Now she’s becoming more and more adept at pretending. How long has Mr. Smith been here? She endured until now to come over.”

However, considering that she was Mark’s ex–wife, although there was an “ex” before it, it was still connected to Mark. Peter didn’t want to speak too harshly. So he responded with a cold attitude, “Sorry, I have something important to deal with now. If you have something to say, say it here.”
He assumed it was probably some under–the–table transaction, given that she was an out–of–favor celebrity and a discarded daughter–in–law of a wealthy family. Peter wanted to see if she dared to say it openly.
Peter, like the others, looked down on this wealthy daughter–in–law who had no qualities except being a vase.
Mae didn’t beat around the bush and pointed at the robot in front of them, which was still motionless, saying, “I believe Mr. Gray knows that the robot’s program has been tampered with. Obviously, someone has meddled with it.”
“What are you trying to say?” Peter looked at her, his eyes filled with displeasure, but Mae remained unfazed.
“I can solve all these problems,” Mae got straight to the point. “But I have one condition. I hope Mr. Gray will return the 10% of Gray’s shares that belong to Jean.”
Not only Peter but also everyone else burst into laughter upon hearing her words,
