I was truly stunned. I remembered running into Kitty at Dreamscape District and how Evershine Enterprises decided to sign a contract with me at a cntical moment. Were they all not coincidences?
Or did Kitty help me?
“However, her mother died giving birth to her. The current wife of the president of Evershine Enterprises is her stepmother.” Stella spilled everything she know.
I felt a wave of confusion upon hearing this.
After hanging up, I lost my appetite I opened WhatsApp and messaged Kitty: Can we meet?

She sent me an address, and I rushed over.
Kitty was a food enthusiast, and she was trying out a new Western restaurant. On seeing me, she waved excitedly. “Irene, over here!”

Kitty readily admitted her identity and chatted with me. She was a girl who didn’t lack money but lacked love. She hated her stepmother, so she started
roaming around after graduation. Her dad didn’t know what to do with her.
As for the contract with Evershine Enterprises, Kitty admitted that she had asked her dad for help.
“I don’t like Bonnie; she’s a vixen!” Kitty didn’t mince her words, “Irene, even though you’re Neil’s ex-wife and Bonnie is his ex-girlfriend, I hate her, not you. If I were Neil, I would never forget you either.”

“Isnt she one of Neil’s admirers? Malinda suddenly pointed at Kitty, “I saw her when Neil was in the hospital. Do you remember, Bonnie?”
Bonnie looked at Kitty, her brow furrowed.
Kitty cast a dismissive glance at the group and continued to eat, treating Malinda’s words as hot air.
Whether out of jealousy or dissatisfaction, Bonnie’s personality was becoming more and more volatile. She was unable to hide her emotions.
She gave a contemptuous smile, “Neil has plenty of admirers. What’s she to him? He wouldn’t like a woman who reeks of cheapness”
