Stella was taken aback for a moment, but quickly composed herself. She wasn’t afraid at all and raised a chair, ready to smash it.
Bonnie cowered, hugging her head and looking terrified.
“Darling!” Mitch quickly grabbed the chair from Stella, pulling her into his arms “Don’t get physical, what if you hurt our baby? Remember what the doc said, stability is good for the baby”
Stella’s eyes burned with fury “Mitch! If you continue to defend her in front of me, I swear I’ll divorce you!”
“No way!” Mitch answered firmly, glancing at Bonnie crouched on the floor, his gaze no longer sympathetic but wary and disgusted.
Not only was Stella surprised by his response, Bonnie also couldn’t help but look up at him.
Ever since Neil introduced her to his social circle, her innocent and naive image had won over many, except for Neil’s family.
Then, another person appeared at the door.
I turned my head to see Neil standing coldly, looking at the chaotic scene in the ward, his tone irritable. “What happened?”

His words left me, Stella, and Mitch stunned.
Bonnie just stared at him in a daze.
