“We demand severe punishment for the culprits!”
Darius responded with a mocking tone, “Eugen, you can’t use superstitions to manipulate others! There’s no place for sorcery in the vast world.
“It’s interesting that you have a Feng Shui expert right by your side. How can you accuse others of using Feng Shui against you instead?”
Dalton stepped forward and said, “I’m a Feng Shui specialist. I can confirm that Mr. Harvey Pope fell victim to the evil energy of the Ghosts Omen Formation within a Feng Shui formation, which led to his tragic death.
“The real culprits are among the people standing over there.”
Darius looked suspiciously at Leones and suspected he might be involved in this case.
“You’re saying the culprits are right over there?” Darius countered, “You seem like an expert in this field. I could just as well accuse you of being the culprits!”
“You!” Dalton was speechless. He was unable to respond to Darius’s strong counterargument.
“Mr. Timon!” Eugen spoke earnestly, “What do you mean by this? Why are you defending them? Are you suggesting that my son was burnt to death out of the blue?”
Eugen wasn’t a fool. He could see Darius siding with Leones, seemingly against his interests.
Eugen couldn’t comprehend why Darius was fervently defending the Soler family’s interests, especially when the Soler family was only beginning to ascend.

Eugen nodded curtly, then glared at Leones and his group before storming off, seething angrily. “Mr. Eugen Pope, what’s going on here?” Dalton couldn’t help but feel puzzled. “Why does it seem like Mr. Timon is protecting the other side? Did the Pope family offend the Timon family?”

While Eugen didn’t have a close friendship with Darius’s father, they maintained a cordial relationship over the years.
They often made occasional visits during festivals and special occasions.
Eugen believed there was no reason for the Sherland Government to be at odds with his family unless the Soler family had somehow managed to secure favor with the government.
