Liam was taken aback, “Who did you say got a girlfriend?”
“Mason,” Simon said, “Aren’t you two buddies? How come you didn’t know?”
Liam fell silent.
He had attended a party organized by Nicolas before, but Mason couldn’t come due to work. They hadn’t hung out since.
Actually, they hadn’t been in touch for quite a while.
Did Mason get a girlfriend? Why didn’t Nicolas tell him right away?
Liam was confused; he asked, “Do you know who the girl is?”
Simon paused before slowly answering, “Didn’t ask for details, but she seems like a fresh face, probably not from our circle. She’s quite elegant and is a music teacher.”
