Naomi had overdosed on some illegal stuff last night and was rushed to the ER, still critically ill
Wasn’t she arrested by the cops for questioning? How did she still manage to overdose?
Was she released yesterday?
A million questions buzzed in her head, and she turned to Liam.
Liam had been brooding over how Celeste had ratted him out for running around without clothes last night and being spotted by Owen. He was taken aback when she suddenly looked at him.
“What’s up?” he asked.
Celeste replied, “Naomi overdosed; she’s been in the ER for hours and is still critical”
Liam just grunted, showing no real concern.
Celeste couldn’t help but wonder, “Is someone out to get her? First, she’s caught for tax evasion, and in less than two days, she overdoses. That’s some bad luck, right?”
Naomi had some serious financial backing, but there was no sign of her sugar daddy protecting her this time.
Maybe she got dumped by her sugar daddy, or maybe he’s in trouble too.
If her sugar daddy isn’t protecting her and the company doesn’t care, she must’ve pissed off some big shots.
Liam frowned slightly. Is she famous?”
Celeste thought for a moment “Somewhat, but not that famous.”

“Who would bother targeting a not–so–famous celebrity?” Liam said casually. “It’s too costly. I’d say she messed up and gave someone the perfect opportunity.”
Owen raised an eyebrow.
Costly? Yeah, it wasn’t cheap digging up those tax records. Using connections for stuff like this was a bit over the top
Liam rarely dabbled in the entertainment industry. If it weren’t for Celeste, he wouldn’t even give people like this a second glance on the street.
Ramsey, Naomi, and the mastermind behind the previous incident, were all in his sights.
But the overdose was surprising. Mr. Reed wasn’t planning to completely ruin her, just to make her disappear from the industry forever.
Would Naomi choose to overdose at this time?

Owen said, “Naomi has made many enemies. It might take some time to narrow it down.”
“Just take your time.” Liam paused, then added, “Also, check on Mason’s recent activities.”
Owen was a bit puzzled,
Mr. Reed had been particularly wary of Mr. Fletcher recently, but he wasn’t sure why.
If it was because of Celeste, that was impossible. Mr. Reed’s jealousy was clearly directed at Mr. Garcia.
If Mr. Fletcher had feelings for Celeste, then her divorce would be the best opportunity for him. But he didn’t make a move.
