Celeste chuckled, “Mr. Reed, don’t be so sensitive.”
A glint of delight flashed in Liam’s eyes as he responded, “I have some time off coming up, are you planning to spend it with me?”
Celeste was taken aback.
She lowered her head and said, “We’ll see when the time comes. You should spend some time with your grandma now that you have some free time.”
Liam wanted to suggest that they could visit his grandma together.
But then he thought that their relationship was still a secret, so Celeste might not be comfortable going public.
Besides, she didn’t have a good impression of the Reed family and would probably prefer not to see them during her vacation.

“I want us to have matching outfits too.”
Celeste was surprised, then she giggled. This issue hadn’t been resolved.
She said, “I bought so many matching outfits at home before, and you hardly wore any.”
Liam quickly replied, “You expect a man like me to wear pink pajamas?”
Celeste laughed.
Couples outfits were usually pink and blue. But she didn’t like pink, so she always gave the pink ones to Liam.
Being a macho man, Liam naturally didn’t want to wear pink.
Celeste teased. “What’s wrong with pink? Don’t assume only women can wear pink. Many men wear pink nowadays. And your fair skin makes pink look sexy on you.”
Liam pondered for a moment and then asked, “Really?”
“Why would I lie to you? You know, I bought all those pink clothes for you because I thought they would look good on you, but you never wore them.”
Liam’s mood was instantly confused by Celeste, “Then… I’ll give it a try next time.”
“If you don’t like it, don’t force yourself, Celeste imitated Liam’s tone, “I don’t want you to be with me just to please me. I want you to be with me because you want to”
Liam sighed. “Sometimes I really can’t tell if you’re being serious or just being sarcastic.”
Celeste raised an eyebrow, “Oh, losing patience with me so soon?”
Liam chuckled softly, pressed his phone, and sent a voice message, “Even though you’re always stern when you talk, as soon as I kiss your earlobe, your tone becomes soft, and your voice becomes tender I like that, I like that you’re like this only with me.”
After hearing this, Celeste blushed and pulled her phone away from her ear, replying with a cold smiley face

Celeste put her phone away and smiled, “No, thanks, these cakes are all yours. The doctor suggested that I adjust my diet, so I should eat less of these high–calorie foods.”
Trisha swallowed the cake in her mouth and asked, “Are you not feeling well?”
Celeste nodded, “You could say that.”
“What did the doctor suggest you eat? Tell me, I don’t have much going on lately, I can cook for you.”
Celeste hugged her tightly, “Babe, thank you, you just rest up, I can handle this”
“Then if you’re not eating this, I’ll give it to Dr. Ledford”
Celeste paused slightly, asking “You and Dr. Ledford haven’t made any progress?”
As soon as she mentioned this, Trisha got excited, “There’s been some progress recently. The job I’m about to apply for was introduced by Dr. Ledford.”
“Then one box of cake might not be enough.”
“This is just a small gift. If I really get the job, I’ll definitely prepare another gift.”
