Sydney chuckled, “You can’t possibly take all of them, right? Besides, do you have enough space at home to store them?”
Implying that Celeste lived in a small place and couldn’t possibly store so many bags.
Celeste responded, “I can’t store them at my place, I plan to keep them at my friend’s place”
Liam had been sending her clothes, shoes, and bags gradually, and she was running out of closet space
But to others, it meant that Celeste’s place was so small that she had to store her bags at her friend’s place, how poor could she be?
They all felt a bit sorry for her. She didn’t have the means, so why was she competing with Sydney?
Naomi was less sympathetic. She teased, “She said you could pick a couple.”
Celeste didn’t seem upset, she calmly replied, “Since Sydney doesn’t want them anymore, and she likes helping newcomers, it’s better than throwing them away. right?”
Sydney had no comeback for that.
While the bags were out of fashion, they could fetch a decent price if sold second hand.
Many celebrities actually sold their unused luxury items in second–hand stores, it was not a secret.
Luxury items were expensive, and not everyone could afford them. Plus, fashion trends came and left, so it was common to sell old items and buy new ones.
Sydney claimed she wouldn’t sell them to show off her wealth, but Celeste took her words literally. Now, Sydney couldn’t back out.
Seeing that Sydney remained silent, Celeste decided to push her buttons a little more.
“Are you having second thoughts? Celeste feigned understanding. These things are indeed not cheap, it’s normal to be a bit reluctant.”
“Ms Campbell, you’re overthinking.” Sydney interrupted her, “If you really want them, I would be more than happy to give them to you. But to me, these are just like trash. If they can help Ms. Campbell, I would be satisfied”

Celeste replied, “I’ll try to pick them up as soon as possible. That way, I can rest easy
Just as she finished speaking, the doorbell rang.
Celeste smiled. “My friend is here, he can help me move them later. This way, I won’t have to make an extra trip tomorrow”
After saying that, she went downstairs to greet her friend.
Naomi was in disbelief, “Has she lost her mind?”
Sydney gave a slight smirk. Celeste really didn’t understand what it meant to be humble, the divorce had stripped her of her dignity.
Her behavior was simply too shameful to see, no need for others to expose it, she could play out the embarrassing stuff perfectly by herself
However, when Celeste’s friends showed up, Sydney could no longer crack a smile.
