Lucilla declined, “Sorry, I don’t know you.”
Celeste chuckled, “Don’t you want to know how you became Shawn’s mistress?”

Owen was surprised. Ms. Campbell was faster than Mr. Reed.
Lucilla clutched her phone, her heart pounding, “What are you trying to say?”
Celeste said, “Ms. Preston, don’t be nervous. I mean no harm, but it’s not convenient to talk about these things over the phone. Let’s meet at the coffee shop at the
corner of Oak Street tomorrow. You can refuse if you’re not interested in what I have to say”
Lucilla looked hesitant. Liam gestured with his lips, “Agree to it.”
Lucilla said, “Ok, see you tomorrow”
After hanging up. Lucilla tumed to Liam, “Why did you have me agree to it?”
Liam said casually, “The one who called was my loved one.”
Lucilla was surprised.
This couple didn’t even coordinate and came to find her separately?
Liam continued, “Go on time tomorrow, agree to whatever she says. I’ll make good on my promise”
With such a good offer, of course, Lucilla wouldn’t refuse.
On the other side, at Grandview Heights.
After hanging up the phone, Trisha asked eagerly. “So, did she agree?”
Celeste nodded, “We’re meeting tomorrow morning”
“Do you want me to accompany you?” Trisha asked.

The detective had brought back some news. Shawn had a mistress named Lucilla, who was younger than Angel.

She moved forward and asked tentatively, “Ms. Campbell?”
Celeste nodded, “Please sit down, would you like something to drink?”
“I don’t like coffee,” said Lucilla as she pulled out a chair, “What do you want to talk about?”
Celeste didn’t beat around the bush. She took a photo out of her bag and slid it across the table towards Lucilla, “Take a look”
Lucilla peered down at the photo. It depicted a girl, perched next to a bicycle, clutching a book. Her hair was done up in pig tails and she was all smiles.
But the girl’s face looked familiar. Like hers
“That’s my mom, Celeste said calmly, “Shawn’s ex–wife”
Lucilla blinked.
“You met Shawn at a job fair, didn’t you?” continued Celeste
Lucilla snapped back to reality. “How did you know?”
Celeste gave a small smile, “Because that’s how his current wife met him, too”
Lucilla felt a bit uneasy, and murmured, “I never wanted to ride his coattails to success.
“I’m sorry.” Celeste said softly, “I didn’t mean it that way I was referring to Shawn’s pattern.”
“Pattern? Lucilla was confused.
