Just as Celeste was tom, Liam suddenly picked her up and put her on the shoe cabinet in the hallway. His eyes were meaningful, his face expressionless, but his ears were red as if they were about to bleed.
Just when Celeste thought that Liam was about to get intimate with her, he suddenly leaned on her shoulder and softly called her name, “Letti.”
Celeste didn’t say a word, her breathing became a bit rushed.
“Letti,” Liam called again.
“What is it?” Celeste leaned on his shoulder, her voice a bit hoarse.
Liam gently rubbed against her and whispered, “Thank you.”
Celeste was stunned
Liam kissed her lips again. “The step you took is braver than the ninety–nine steps I took, thank you.”
Celeste suddenly felt, their relationship had become pure again.

Before Liam could finish, Celeste suddenly grabbed his collar and bit his lip.
She didn’t have the patience like Liam who was trying to show off all kinds of skills. She just kissed him roughly, let go of him, glared at him and scolded, “Idiot”
Liam looked innocent
Celeste got off the shoe cabinet with a dark face and walked away.
Liam was puzzled Why was she angry? She didn’t seem angry or resist when she kissed him a moment ago
Just as Liam was trying to figure it out, the doorbell rang. Liam snapped back to reality and opened the door
Outside was a security guard from the property management, holding a bunch of flowers Seeing a man opening the door, he was taken aback, then asked, “Hello. is Ms. Campbell home?”
Liam glanced at the flowers, “What do you want with her?”
“Ms Campbell had a bunch of flowers delivered to the security room. My on–duty colleague said she was home, so I delivered it.” He then added, “Could you please. have Ms. Campbell sign for it?”
“Give it to me”
The security guard hesitated, “May I ask who you are?”
Tm her husband”
The security guard scratched his head awkwardly. Sending flowers to a married lady on Valentine’s Day and having it received by her husband. That was certainly a dangerous task. The security guard quickly handed the flowers to Liam and fled the scene.
Liam held the flowers, looked down and saw a card tucked inside
He took it out and glanced at it
There were only a few words on the card Break a leg.
Even without looking at the signature, Liam could tell at a glance that it was Mason’s handwriting.
“Who was it?”
Celeste came out of the kitchen with a glass of water.
Liam calmly put the card in his pocket, handed her the flowers, “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
Celeste was greatly surprised, “You ordered these flowers?”
Liam answered “uh–huh” without blinking an eye
Celeste’s anger subsided a lot. She took the flowers, and looked for a vase while saying. “These flowers are much prettier than the previous ones. Your taste has improved
The flowers Liam had sent before were typical, each bouquet was mainly pink.
He seemed to firmly believe that women must like pink stuff. It was laughable.
The flowers this time looked much fresher and different from before, not all roses.
There were lilies, carnations, daisies, and many more. All color–coordinated so perfectly that you didn’t even need to take them out and arrange them separately You could just unwrap it and pop them straight into a vase. It was already beautiful as it was.
Listening to Celeste’s praises, Liam was eaten up with jealousy and anger. He wished he could crumple that card in his pocket into dust!
When Celeste finished arranging the flowers and turned around, she found Liam sulking on the couch.
“What’s up with you?”
“Weren’t the flowers I used to give you pretty enough?”
