Chapter 753
Seeing Celeste not say anything for a long time, Skyler thought there was room for negotiation and said, “Or you can make a request.”
Celeste was brought back to reality, “You can’t even afford the 100 million for Sienna’s precious band; you probably can’t afford my demand.”
Skyler’s expression twisted instantly. Biting back her anger, she said sternly, “Kaylee is still young, staying in such a place will ruin her! If you still want to get back with Liam, don’t make things so hard. You should know how much Liam dotes on Kaylee, right?”
Celeste frowned.
How dare she use this to threaten her?
If Liam continued to indulge Kaylee in this matter, she would really not consider him.
Celeste stared at Skyler, “I can help, but I have one condition.”
Skyler’s eyes lit up instantly.
“Speak.”
Celeste said calmly, “You turn yourself in and confess that you drugged me, causing me to be infertile. Then I will go plead with Leonard for your daughter.” Skyler’s face froze and her expression darkened instantly, “Are you joking?”
“Not at all.” Celeste smiled faintly, “I’m giving you a chance to save your daughter. Since you love Kaylee so much, surely you wouldn’t mind making this sacrifice?” Skyler, trembling with anger, raised her hand to slap Celeste.
Celeste, prepared, quickly stepped back, causing Skyler to miss.
However, the next second, another slap was coming straight for Celeste’s face.
Her ears rang, and Jade Barlow grabbed her hair, forcing her to lift her head, “Sis, I’ve always said that when dealing with people like this, it’s quicker to use force!” As he said this, he raised his hand to slap her again.
Jade Barlow was very robust, even a grown man might not be able to withstand his blows, let alone a woman like Celeste.
If this slap landed, it might even knock her teeth loose.
So, the moment Jade Barlow raised his arm, Celeste didn’t hesitate and twisted at his lower abdomen. Jade Barlow cried out in pain, immediately bent over, and let go of her hand.
Skyler was startled, “Jade Barlow, are you okay?”
In a desperate bid to escape, Celeste put all her strength into her kick. Jade Barlow felt as if his lower half had exploded, the pain turning his face pale and leaving him bent
over.
Celeste had already started dialing 911 on her phone.
Jade Barlow muttered, “This good–for–nothing!”
He picked up a nearby chair and hurled it towards Celeste in anger.

Celeste managed to dodge in time. While she wasn’t hit, her phone slipped out of her hand, landing on a nearby sofa.
Jade Barlow was fuming. He had found out from Skyler that it was Liam who had reported his production line, and it was all because of his ex–wife.
With his production line shut down, his income had been halved. The money he had lost in Vegas had nearly gotten him beaten up because he couldn’t pay his debts. With fresh anger piling onto old resentment, he was itching to tear Celeste to shreds.
Cold sweat trickled down Celeste’s back. The living room was small and she had nowhere to run.
Seeing Jade Barlow pick up the stool again, Celeste grabbed a nearby throw pillow to defend herself.
She tried to intimidate him with a tough front, “I’m warning you; I’ve already called the cops. You’ve illegally entered someone’s home and tried to hurt them. If Kaylee can’t come, you’ll be arrested!”
Instead of being repentant, Jade Barlow was infuriated by her words and raised the chair to throw it.
But the chair never came. Instead, there was a loud “smack” as a vase hit Jade Barlow in the back of the head.
Trisha stood in the doorway, her face red with anger, a bunch of flowers she had pulled from the vase still in her hand. She shouted, “You jerk! How dare you hurt my
