Liam dismissed it, saying, “When I was twenty–three, I was better looking than him.”
Celeste ignored this childish guy and turned to ask, “Where’s Kaylee?”
Liam’s face became serious, “Someone has already been sent to find her. Before dawn, I’ll personally send her to the police station.” Celeste asked, “Will your mother agree?”
Liam said casually. “If she doesnt, she can take the blame for her daughter, as long as the police agree.
Celeste smiled slightly. “You doted on Kaylee the most; can you bear it?”
Liam looked at her and said, “The one I love the most is you.”

She braced herself and said, “I’m discussing serious matters with you!”
Liam smiled and said, “If I hadn’t been soft–hearted and let her off the first time she made a mistake because of my mother’s plea, she wouldn’t have become like this. She was actually quite well–behaved when she was little. I don’t know why she’s become so impulsive and domineering now!”
Celeste chuckled softly: “Impulsiveness is no excuse for hurting others. She does things solely based on her own preferences and has no moral compass. She’s essentially a bad person.”
