Chapter 714
Kaylee was green with jealousy; her mind was completely consumed by it.
“Am I wrong?” she blurted out. “She just broke up with my brother, and now she’s cozying up with you. My brother lost his mind over her, and now, Mason, you’ve fallen for her too?”
Her voice was loud and shrill, immediately drawing everyone’s attention.
Mason glared at her, and said, “Isn’t causing a scene on set enough? Now you’re here slandering people without any evidence. Is this what Mrs. Reed taught you?”
Kaylee turned pale, and said, “Everything I said is true! Now that the Campbell family doesn’t consider her family anymore, she has no status in the circle. She’s deliberately getting close to you to get back in, Mason; don’t be fooled by her!”
Watching Kaylee’s meltdown, Celeste found it amusing.
She would feel sorry for Kaylee if she hadn’t experienced the feeling of being despised by the person she likes.
So she gently nudged Mason’s arm, slurring her words, “So noisy, I want to go home.”
Tears welled up in Kaylee’s eyes, and she stormed up to Celeste, pushing her to the side.
She calculated that she’d land on the floor mat; it’d look dramatic but wouldn’t actually hurt.

Who was so out of place to catch her? She hadn’t finished her act!
“Are you alright?”
A deep voice sounded in her ear with a hint of amusement, leaving Celeste speechless.
It was Leonard, the one who just saw her fall outside.
She couldn’t stand or kneel; it was too awkward.
Leonard didn’t blow her cover, and Celeste had to continue to play along, “…I’m fine.”
Mason didn’t manage to catch Celeste in time, but seeing she was alright, he breathed a sigh of relief and then turned to Kaylee coldly. “Out!”
Kaylee was in disbelief. “Mason, do you want me to leave?”
Mason sternly said, “The Kaylee I know is straightforward and innocent, not like you, twisting the truth and being overbearing. I don’t want to see you right now; get out!”
Tears welled up in Kaylee’s eyes. “I just didn’t want her to get close to you; I didn’t even push her hard. Mason, why would you rather believe her than me? What’s so attractive about her?”
“Out!” Mason didn’t want to say anything else; he just coldly said, “Don’t make me say it again!”
Kaylee clenched her fists, her eyes filled with anger.
Mason stopped looking at her and bent down to take Celeste from Leonard, asking softly, “Are you hurt?”
Kaylee watched as Mason lowered his head, his eyes filled with tenderness as he whispered to Celeste. It made her fingers tremble with anger.
She saw a hot tea pot on the table near the entrance and suddenly rushed up to grab it, throwing it at Celeste.
Mason immediately shielded Celeste.
However, he didn’t feel the expected pain, but a scream echoed in his ear: “Leo!”
The boiling water was blocked by Leonard.
Leonard’s agent paled and immediately helped Leonard take off his jacket.
Leonard was wearing a waterproof motorcycle suit, blocking most of the water, only a small part splashed on his neck. After taking off his clothes, a burn was visible on his neck.
This sudden incident left the scene in chaos.
