“What’s there not to trust? I have no special feelings for him, and he feels the same towards me. We enjoy gaming together. To me, he’s just like you.”
Celeste was confused
Trisha explained, “What I mean is, I don’t have any special feelings for him. We’re just good friends, just like you and me.”
She also often asked him to deliver meals to Dr. Ledford to maintain a good relationship.
And he was quite trustworthy apart from his high turnover rate in girlfriends.
Celeste thought for a while all of Nicolas ex–girlfriends were beautiful and charming, totally different from Trisha She wasn’t Nicolas‘ type at all.
But were their intimate actions and the all–night gaming okay?
She considered Mason, a good friend but never considered gaming with him all night
Such behavior would blur the lines of friendship, and pure friendship would no longer exist.
After pondering. Celeste reminded, ‘Nicolas is fine as a friend, but if you’re considering him as a boyfriend, you might want to think twice.”
Trisha replied, “Babe, you’re overthinking it. I can’t possibly have feelings for him. He’s a player, and I can’t handle him. I won’t go after something I can’t have.”
Celeste chuckled, “Whether it’s him or Dr. Ledford, you should try to get to know them better.”
She hoped Trisha could avoid making the same mistakes she once made
“I got it, you should get going now”
Celeste put on her shoes, tidied herself, and left
Not long after Celeste left, the doorbell rang
Trisha spat out the toothpaste and shouted, “You’re back. Did you forget something?”
Then she ran to the door and opened it
Nicolas, dressed in a suit and styled hair, stood at the doorway looking charming
“Why are you here?”
Trisha frowned, “What do you want?”
Nicolas clicked his tongue, “Can’t you tell? I’m here to take you on a date.”
Trisha said, “I’m not going”
Nicolas slowly said, ‘It’s a date with Jace.”
Trisha immediately perked up. “Where?”
Nicolas was speechless.
From being cold as ice to suddenly smiling at the mention of Jace?
Nicolas grabbed her collar in frustration, “If you continue to treat me like this, I’ll never take you to see Jace again!”
Trisha cursed inwardly but managed to maintain a smile, gently massaging his back and shoulders.
“How could I? I just woke up, and am still sleepy, so I might not look too good”
Nicolas looked at her pajamas, surprised, “You just woke up?”
“I was up all night gaming with you I’m exhausted”
Nicolas suddenly noticed two little bumps on Trisha’s pajama top, which threw him off momentarily. He then asked in disbelief. “You’re not wearing a bra?”
Trisha looked down, quickly pushed him away, adjusted her top, and whispered, “Of course, I don’t wear a bra when I sleep, it’s uncomfortable.”
Then she turned around and said. “Wait for me; I’ll change”
With that, she went back into her room
Nicolas looked at his hands and thought about what he had just seen. A question suddenly dawned on him.
She was not embarrassed about a male friend finding out she was not wearing a bra.
Was she not a woman, or did she not see him as a male friend?
Obviously, the latter, Trisha did not see him as a man.
This realization made Nicolas feel a bit uncomfortable
