Celeste’s face darkened, “Dad, the money for the drphanage came from the assets under mom’s name. Even if the company’s revenue declines, it shouldn’t affect that. If you’re not good at managing, why not hire a lawyer to transfer mom’s shares to me, and let me handle the expenses?” Hearing this, Shawn’s face turned pale, “Your mother’s medical expenses cost tens of thousands a month, nearly a million a year. Do you think our family has a gold mine like the Reed family? I’m doing everything I can now to pay for her medical expenses. Where would I have the extra money to support the orphanage?”
