She glanced at Steven’s gloomy face and suddenly understood. Liam didn’t need her to navigate, but he was afraid Steven would trick him out of the car and then drive away So he asked Celeste to get out first, using her as a hostage‘ to restrain Steven.
Celeste agreed with an “okay.” Then she nervously turned to open the car door, not daring to even look at Steven.
Two minutes later, Liam was in the driver’s seat, Celeste was his co–pilot, and Trisha was in the middle of the back seat, flanked by Nicolas and a very unhappy Steven. She felt a lot of pressure.

Couples should sit together, and single people should sit at the sides.
When he was changing gears, his hand accidentally touched Celeste’s bare knee. Before Celeste could react, Stever’s eyelids started twitching.

Celeste’s face turned awkward, her best friend was too straightforward

Celeste and Liam had been to the resort that Clair chose before.
That was Valentine’s Day two years ago. Celeste made a reservation in advance, wanting to have a world of her own with Liam
But Liam had to work overtime until the early morning because something went wrong with his experiment data.
When he came here with her the next day he slept all day.
The world for two she had been looking forward to never happened; she could only watch Liam sleep alone in the bathtub.
When he woke up, he even told her that sleeping in water could relieve fatigue.
The sexy pajamas she had carefully prepared had no chance to be worn and had to be taken back.
When they checked out the next day, she was unhappy, and Liam asked in confusion, 1 came with you, why are you still unhappy?”
This man didn’t understand the heart of a woman.
More than forty minutes later, the car finally arrived at the resort.
It had been two years since their last visit, and the environment there was even better than before. The green plants at the entrance were carefully trimmed into various shapes, looking very beautiful
As soon as they parked, there were dedicated staff to guide them and help park their car.
It was only when the staff led everyone to the reception hall that Celeste found out that Clair had booked the entire place just for her birthday party. They had the whole place to themselves.
For the next two days, the resort wouldn’t accept any other guests.
Trisha quickly caught up and whispered to Celeste, “Your family is really extravagant; there are only a few guests, and you’ve booked the whole place? That’s a waste”
Celeste gently patted her hand, signaling her to stop.
Once they reached the reception, Steven asked the front desk to arrange rooms.
The receptionist glanced at them, asking. “Do you need three double rooms?”
Steven replied, “Two double rooms, one single room‘
Liam was taken aback. He thought Steven had already made up his mind, only to hear Steven point at Celeste and say, “Celeste can have a double room by herself you stay with me”
Liam was dumbfounded
What kind of decision was that?!
Everyone was unhappy with this arrangement, except for Nicolas
Trisha raised her hand in objection, “Umm, Steven, i want to stay with Letti What about you three share a triple room? You could save some money
Everyone fell silent
The receptionist politely said, “Sorry, we don’t have triple rooms”
So the final arrangement ended up being two double rooms and one single room.
Liam and Nicolas stayed in one room, the two ladies in another, and Steven had the single room to himself.
