She got up at 6 am, accompanied by Hector, and didn’t finish until almost 1 pm after nearly five hours of discussion
Celeste looked at the documents in her hand and immediately felt more relaxed.
Hector turned to her and said, “You could have kept some for yourself.”

Celeste smiled, “This land was initially entrusted to my grandfather for safekeeping He gave it to my mother before he died, and when she passed away the responsibility fell to me. Hector glanced at her, “You could donate a portion of Liam’s wealth. It would look good.”
Celeste asked. “Mr. Hector, did Liam ever bully you when you were in school?”
Hector thought for a moment, “He once used my coffee water to soak his feet. Does that count?”

It probably did count, as most people wouldn’t remember such a thing so clearly.
Just as she was thinking this, Liam’s call came in, “What are you two talking about over there?”
Celeste was taken aback and quickly looked around.
Liam casually said, “Three o’clock direction.”
Celeste turned her head, and there it was, a black Mercedes parked not far away. The license plate was familiar, and it was from her house.
She said a quick goodbye to Hector and walked towards the Mercedes, clutching her files.
Owen, seeing her approach, got out of the car, walked around it, and opened the back door for her.
Liam was actually dressed in a full white suit today, his hair neatly combed. At first glance, he looked like a groom about to get hitched.
Once Celeste got in, Owen closed the door.
She glanced at Liam and asked, “Are you going on a blind date or something?”
Liam fell silent
Owen chuckled and said, “Mr. Reed just attended a ribbon–cutting ceremony. He knew you were here, so he wanted to invite you to dinner.”
“Oh,” Celeste asked, “What’s for dinner?”
“Whatever you want, Liam replied.
Celeste took another look at his suit, “If you go to any restaurant other than a Michelin five–star dressed like this, people might think you’ve lost your marbles.”
Liam shot her a glance, “Then let’s hit a five–star restaurant!”
And so, at the entrance of the restaurant, she ran into her first love
