Liam spoke clearly and directly, “Letti is going to process some property ownership documentation with Mason this afternoon. Could you accompany her?”
Trisha snapped right back, “You mean, you want me to spy on her for you? No way!”
“Fine “Liam responded crisply.
This took Trisha by surprise.
He agreed just like that?
However, what Liam said next left Trisha speechless. Your resume mentioned your experience working at Quantum. I think I need to have a chat with your new boss”
Trisha was silent in a fit of anger, “You promised Letti you’d keep my secret!”
“Oh.” Liam said nonchalantly, “Didn’t Letti tell you that I’m a master of going back on my word?”
Trisha was speechless.
What a scoundrell She couldn’t understand how Celeste could fall for him.
Celeste was in the living room preparing the documents when Trisha poked her head in and asked, “Letti?”
Celeste was too busy to look up, “What’s up?”
“Where are you going?”
Trisha casually asked as she stepped out of the room.
“I’m going to get some official documents processed with Mr. Fletcher. Do you need something?”
“Um sort of.”
Celeste looked up, “What is it?”
“Well, I want to buy some clothes for Nicolas, but I’m not good at choosing. You used to buy clothes for Liam all the time, right? You have good taste, can you help me out?”
Celeste nodded, “Sure, we can go shopping together when I’m done.”
“Can’t I just go with you?” Trisha blinked her eyes, “We can go shopping after you’re done. It saves you the trouble of running back and forth, and I’m pretty bored at home”
Celeste didn’t think much of it and agreed, “Sure, I’ll let Mr. Fletcher know.”
“Great, I’ll go change.”
Trisha quickly retreated back to her room.
Luckily, Letti was too busy, if she had looked at Trisha for a second longer, she would have been caught.
When Mason arrived to pick them up and heard Trisha would also be joining, he paused for a moment but didn’t say anything. He loaded them into the car and headed straight for their destination.
With Mason’s help, the process that would have taken a lot of time was completed in just an afternoon.
Having gotten the certification, Celeste felt a lot more at ease.
As they exited the office, Mason suggested, “Celeste, let’s get a meal together. There are still some details regarding the follow–up process that I need to discuss with you”
Celeste agreed, “Then it’s my treat.”
Mason smiled and didn’t refuse.
Once they were in the car, Trisha took out her phone to report to Liam, “They got the certificate, and Letti is taking Mr. Fletcher out to dinner.”
Liam asked, “Where?”
Trisha grumbled, “I’ll send you the location in a bit.”
Just as Liam was about to say something. Clyde’s voice came over from the side, “Liam, are you playing on your phone during a meeting?”
Liam paused and glanced at Owen, who instantly switched the projector to display Wesley Reed’s phone

Liam casually flipped through some papers and said, “I was just replying to a text, Clyde. Maybe you should keep an eye on your own son. Is he showing off his ‘capabilities‘ by sending gifts to a female streamer during such a high–level meeting?”
Only then did Wesley realize his phone was being projected onto the big screen, and he quickly turned it off
