Mason chuckled and whispered, “Alright, let me tell you over the phone.”

Mason continued, “Remember I mentioned before that behind that old house, there is a kindergarten. Do you know who runs it?”
The first person that came to Celeste’s mind was Shawn, “Is it Shawn’s?”
Mason shook his head, “No, it’s Helen and Silvia, your aunt. They’re both in on it, with Helen as the investor taking in dividends and Silvia mainly managing the day–to–day operations.”
No wonder Previously, Mason mentioned that Silvia’s family never moved out, now it seemed that they had pretty much claimed the place
“According to my sources, the kindergarten is doing pretty well. The New Garden area is an old part of town, and the city council is currently renovating the historic district. “Given the unique nature of this area, any construction on the land requires approval from the relevant authorities. Without these, how can they run a business here?”
Mason murmured. “If they managed to set it up, they must have all the necessary paperwork, even if it’s not all above board.”

Getting someone to help her sort out the paperwork wouldn’t be a big deal.
“You told me before that the front yard of the house is your grandfather’s property, and the backyard belongs to his two brothers. I got a friend to check the ownership of these two pieces of land. The deed to your grandfather’s house is with Shawn, but the buildings on it are now owned by Silvia and her husband. They’ve registered the transaction with the property bureau. As for the backyard, since it doesn’t belong to your grandfather, they can’t touch
“Do you have time today? If you do, I can accompany you to the relevant departments to get the ownership certificate for the backyard under your name. This is crucial for you to reclaim the land.”
Celeste looked surprised. “Didn’t you say before that it would be difficult to get in touch with my grandfather’s two brothers and the paperwork would be complicated? Every step is necessary.”
Mason chuckled, “It might be for others, but I have my ways.
“What ways?” Celeste asked curiously.
Mason joked, “Those are my bread and butter. If you learned them, wouldn’t I starve?”
Celeste couldn’t help but laugh, “If I really had those skills, wouldn’t Liam have left our marriage empty–handed instead of me?”
Mason chuckled, “So when are we going to sort out the certificate?”
Celeste fell silent.
His words could easily lead to misunderstandings.
“Just wait a bit, I’ll check with my agent to see what I have scheduled for this afternoon, then I’ll call you back, okay?”
Mason nodded, “Alright, I’ll wait for your call”
