“Why not buy another one?”
Even though Celeste said this, she still reached under the table and opened the gift box.
She pinched the item inside with two fingers, then froze.
This touch doesn’t feel like a typical gift, does it?
She looked at Liam in confusion, but Liam asked casually, “What’s wrong?”
Nicolas asked. “Is it some kind of fancy jewelry that left you speechless?”
Celeste didn’t respond, instead taking out the item directly.

Then, they both fell silent.
Turns out, the box didn’t contain a gift at all but a stack of bridal photography brochures.
Unwilling to accept this, Celeste opened another box that Liam had prepared, her lips twitching.
This box contained a detailed itinerary for a honeymoon trip
Nicolas said sarcastically. “You’re really following Celeste’s lead. Don’t bother coming if you gave me a gift like this when I get married”
Liam completely ignored him and leaned in to whisper to Celeste, “I’ve got plenty more where those came from. Pick one later, and let’s plan ahead.”
So all this was just to get her to open the box
Celeste felt warm inside but pretended to be angry on the outside, “If I hadn’t stopped you just now, I’d like to see how you’d handle it when someone else discovered your “gift”
Liam said, “With such fancy packaging, how could you resist?”
After saying this, he paused, then said softly, “It was meant for you to see anyway.”
Nicolas ate his jealousy in silence. He really shouldn’t have interrupted.
Just as he was cursing the sweet couple, Trisha, phone in hand, finally arrived.
Nicolas spotted her in the crowd and waved, “Over here!”
Trisha ran over immediately, grabbing a glass of juice from the table and downing half of it, “Guess who I saw on the way here?”
A muscle in Nicolas’s eye twitched, and he asked calmly, “Jace is here?”
Trisha looked confused, “Why would Dr. Ledford be here? He’s not close to Shawn.”
Nicolas was relieved, “Then who?”
“Jarred Wilson!”
Celeste paused, then took a sip of her juice.
“Jarred?” Nicolas thought for a moment, “Sounds familiar.”
“The president of Enchanted Media Group, Damon Wilson’s son.”
Hearing Damon’s name, Nicolas understood
Enchanted Media Group was one of the earliest media companies in the country, a veteran in the industry. Their company promoted many big stars from the 1990s to the early millennium.
Even though media companies are springing up like mushrooms after a rain, and star studios are also grabbing resources, Enchanted Media Group, as a veteran in the industry, its top–tier resources are still unmatched by other similar companies. It’s not too much to call it the film and television industry leader
“Does Shawn know anyone from the Wilson family?”
Celeste shook her head and answered, “Not that I know of.”
