Mason played along. “I guess I could be considered a mega fan. When given the choice between watching your show or working overtime, everyone chose your show”

Celeste saw he was truly upset and softened her tone, “Why would you think that? I’m reluctant to reject Mason because he’s never asked me for any help before. Instead, he’s always been helping me. You know I don’t like to owe people. The first time he asked for my help, I felt awkward But if it could help him solve his problems, I wouldn’t owe him anymore. I think it’s worth it.”
Logically, Liam could understand, but he didn’t want to be logical! His long held discontent suddenly burst out, “You’re always smiling when you talk to him. Your voice is even softer than when you talk to me!”
