Aliza pov
Leaving him standing by his car. I get to see his eyes turn black and a furious roar is heard behind my back once I have started to walk away
I have a bit of bad conscience about all this but I did make up my mind before and now there isn’t a turning back from it.
Taking quick steps over to my car I open it and get inside. I’m prepared to be stopped by him but nothing happens and when I turn my head in his way to look at him he is nowhere to be seen.
Sighing I turn out of the parking lot and head to my home. I messaged Heidi if she could drive my son home and wait there until I come home.
She had no problem with it and all I need right now is my son and a cup of tea. Speeding down the road I don’t see any car following me and once I turn up to my driveway I’m certain none of his men have been following after me over here.
Heidi is sitting on my porch when I get out of my car and start to walk over to where she is. I’m starting to get a headache and a second thought about all this, am I doing the right thing?
“Was it a nice dinner?” she asks me when I have walked up the steps.

Taking a seat beside her on the hammock I sit back and look up at the ceiling.
“It was nice,” I tell her, and don’t want to talk about it right now.
“Where is Noah?” I ask her and look at my watch. He should be asleep
now.
“I put him to bed and he is already asleep. I’m still surprised he took it that Darian is just a relative and nothing else,” she says and I had thought he would ask a lot more questions about it when I told him but
he didn’t.
“Yes, I’m surprised as well,” I say and sit up to look out into the forest. hearing a twig snap I turn to look that way and try to see what it is but I can’t.
“I bet it’s one of his men!” she says and it could even be him. When I don’t hear anything more or see any sight of a wolf I get up on my feet and start to head for the door.
“Want some tea? I would like some company for a bit” I say and she gives me a nod before she gets up as well and heads after me into the house.
We get a long time to talk about work and other things when I see her yawn and I’m grateful she stayed as long as she did.
“I’ll better head home!” she says before she gets up on her feet, looking at the clock it’s late and I know she is tired.

“I’m texting Liz and tell her you are on your way home. She will be waiting for you and aren’t you home in fifteen minutes we will go. looking for you.” I tell her and place my cup of tea on the counter before following after her out in the hallway.
“There is no need. I will make it home safely” she says but tonight she better just go straight home by how tired she is, and this was all a part of my plan to have her occupied the whole evening.
“No, I’m texting her. Want to make sure you are fine” I say when she gives me a nod and heads for the door. Following after her I have my phone in my hand when I see her walk down the stairs.
“I’ll see you tomorrow,” I say and wave at her when she reaches her car and gets inside. Standing and looking at the car when it disappears down the road I dial Liz’s number and she answers at the first ring.

“What are you up to?” she starts by saying and I bit my bottom lip for a second before answering.
“Nothing, just make sure Heidi gets home right away. I’ll talk to you. tomorrow!” I say and hang up the phone before she gets another chance to ask anything else, I can’t involve anyone else in this.
It’s a bit chilly out tonight and I turn around to get myself another cup of tea and a big blanket. There is no way I’m able to get any sleep at the moment and I’m sure he will come here at one point. It’s just wait and
see.
Once I have looked into my son’s room and made sure he is asleep I tuck him in and give him a kiss before heading back down and getting me my tea and blanket before I take a seat on my porch.
Trying to relax out there the best I can but I can’t help to look at the watch every second and feel more anxious about all of this than I ever thought I would feel.
The time goes but slowly and I have finished my cup of tea a long time ago when I hear the sound of an engine.
Looking at my watch it’s already past midnight and I take the blanket off my shoulders and sit up in my seat.
Looking down the road I wait for the car to come into sight and the seconds go by incredibly slowly. I’m not taking my eyes off the road

and when the headlights come into view I already know it is one of his cars without seeing it closer.
All these times I have seen those black cars following me or standing outside work I don’t need to look twice to know it’s them.
The car slows down and stops beside my driveway when I get up on my feet and drop the blanket to the floor. Slowly taking a few steps closer to the railing when a car door is being opened and I see him get out of the back seat.
He is dressed in just a pair of shorts and a shirt when he turns his head and looks my way.
My heart instantly starts to beat harder in my chest at the sight of him when he starts to take determined steps over to my porch.
I know by the look of him he knows what I did and he is here to punish me. My legs feel like jelly and I take a slow step back when he starts to climb the stairs.
I let go of the railing when he reaches the top of the stairs and his eyes are as black as the night when he holds my gaze with his. My breath hitches in my body and I slowly start to back away from him when he moves closer to me, slowly and without taking his eyes off me.
There is no where for me to go when my back hits the house wall and I try to take a deep breath to be prepared when he comes to stop right in front of me.

He slowly moves closer and I place my hands on the wall for some support while I hear him growl at me. It sends a chill down my spine and for every step he takes closer to me I try to prepare myself for what’s to come.
He places his hand to the wall over my head and his face comes closer to my ear. I hear him growl at me and I can’t help the feelings he stirs up in my body when his scent reaches my nose and I close my eyes and try to have the bond settle in my body before I lean into him and do something I shouldn’t.
“You lied to me!” he growls next to my ear and his sexy masculine body is being pressed against mine. I have nowhere to escape him and I feel how my body starts to shiver with him this close to me.
