Chapter 65 A
Aliza pov
His arms come around my body when he holds me tight to him, his naked warm skin against mine doesn’t make it any easier for me and I can’t push him off me. He won’t budge on his hold.
“No Aliza. I’m not done talking to you!” he says and I feel his hand travel up my body when he grabs my head in a firm grip and places my face to his chest. I can’t move and give up for a moment and stop struggling against him, there is no point to try and fight his strength.
“I would never have done it if I knew you would accept it and what would happen. I can’t take it back or I would, I never meant to cause you this pain” he says and I’m glad he doesn’t see me right now because I can’t hold back my tears.
During all these years I never wanted an apology for what happened, it didn’t matter and it wouldn’t change a thing. But I would lie if I said it didn’t feel good to hear him say it even if nothing changes.
We stand like that for a moment when I take a deep breath and push all my feelings deep down in my body where they used to be, this doesn’t change a thing and is only a waste of time.
His hand on my head pulls my head back and he tilts my heeded up to look at him when I see him take all my face in before he leans his forehead against mine.

“I have to know something.” He says and I have a feeling I already know what is it. Standing there I just wait for him to continue.
“You know I felt your feelings right before you accepted my rejection. I felt how you were innocent in all of this and it has pained me for years, but why did you have to protect me? And from what?” he asks and I knew he would probably ask about it.
To me, it was a lifetime ago and none of it matters anymore, I’m not a part
of the pack any longer and they all believe I’m dead. Why stir up a wound if it’s not necessary, nothing will change if he knows. It’s all in the past!
“It doesn’t matter!” I say and try to get his arms off me, I’m done talking!
“It matters to me!” he says when I push his hand off me and he lets go but still looks at me. Holding his gaze a moment without talking I turn around to walk away when he stops me and holds his arm around me to prevent me from walking away.
“Talk to me,” he says and I have to take a deep breath
“That was my old life, none of it matters anymore,” I say and get out of his grip. Leaving him standing in the shower when I quickly grab a towel and wrap it around me before I rush into the room and start to dry my body on the towel.
I feel dirty and need to take a shower once I get home and wash my body with soap, just water won’t have gotten all of it away but I’m not

Trying to dry my body and rub the last of the mask away with the towel before I start to pull my clothes on me. The faster I can get out of his pack lands and away from him the better.
Sighing loudly I know it doesn’t matter where I go, he will be following my every step and I can’t escape him whatever I do. Then what way out of this is there for me?

I can’t reject him and if he rejects me I might not survive it, it’s a risk I’m not ready to take. I need to be in Noah’s life and see him grow up. I don’t understand the moon goddess when she gave me Darian as my second chance mate, what is she punishing me for?
My head spins with all my thoughts but now is not the time and I should be focusing on getting back home. Noah will be waiting for me to get home and I have more work to do.
Tossing the towel in the washbin I pull the shirt over my head before I pick up my bag and take on my shoes. Looking around so I haven’t forgotten anything before I walk over to the door and push it open.
Looking around in the room I’m alone and not a sign of him anywhere. I’m quick to walk over to the next door and step right out into the hallway.
No one is around and I start to walk back to the reception desk to pay for my treatment even if it got interrupted I need to pay for it, it’s not their fault he came here.
Reaching to the big waiting room and see the girl standing behind the reception but no one else is around when I come out into the room.
Walking up to the reception she lifts her head and looks at me when she gives me a big smile. I return her smile and stop by the desk to pick up my wallet and pay for it.

“I hope you enjoyed the treatment,” she says and gives me a wink while I just look at her. I have no idea what he has told her but I don’t care to say anything about it.
“How much is it?” I ask and pull up my card when I hear steps behind me and I know it’s him.
“It’s already taken care of!” his dominant voice says behind me and I give her a nod before turning around to face him.
“Then how much should I pay you?” I ask when he places his hand on my back and starts to pull me with him toward the entrance door.
“Nothing,” he says when the door is opened and outside stands his men and holding up the door to his black sports car.
“I have my car and need to drive back!” I say and try to walk to the side when he grabs my bag and gives it to Jeffrey before I can get it back.
“What are you doing? Give it back” I say when he pushes me over to the car and forces me to get inside before he walks around and gets in the driver’s seat.
“Jeffrey will drive it home. I’m taking you back and that’s the end of this discussion” he says and leans over to grab my seat belt before he pulls it over me and I try to get him to stop.
“I can take it on myself!” I bark at him when he hooks a finger under my jaw and peck my lips, surprising me with how fast he did it when he turns around and start the car just like that. Leaving me shocked

Once we arrive outside my work he ends the call and turns off the engine while I take off my seat belt and open the door to get out. Jeffrey parks my car beside us and gets out when he hands me my bag and my keys before I start to walk over to the entrance.
Darian walks up beside me and opens the door once we reach it, walking inside I halt with the utter chaos I’m witnessing in front of me.
