Looking into his beautiful eyes, I see him stand there with a smirk on his lips and dressed in only a pair of shorts.
“What are you doing here? And when did you start working at a spa” I burst out and feel somewhat annoyed he came here and disturbed in my treatment even if I’m not surprised.
He takes a step closer and places his hand under my chin before he leans a bit closer.
“I got a quick introduction on what to do and why didn’t you tell me you were going to visit my pack lands? Every entry should be reported to me first!” he says, and I roll my eyes at him.
“Why should I? You already knew where I was going since you have your men following my every step I take!” I say and try to get my chin away from his hand, but his grip only increases.
“I would have joined you!” he says and I place my hand over his while I try to get his hands off my chin.
“I wasn’t looking for any company and I’m only here in business,” I tell him when he moves a step closer.

“Will you let me go!” I burst out and look angry at him.
“No!” he only states like he has every right to keep his hold on my chin. It’s annoying and I can’t even growl at him in anger, just look angrily at him.
“Why!” I spit at him and have come to the end of my patience.
“You were about to let another man touch your body!” he growls at me with his face closer to mine, and I have had it with him.
“What does it matter to you what I do?” I bark out and bend my head away while I quickly get up from the bench. Once I’m free and start to head for the shower, I need to get this mask off my body before I can get dressed and leave his city.
I hear him walk after me with his heavy steps when I reach the shower and try to figure out how to get it on when he comes inside the shower with me and pushes a button when cold water gets sprayed over my body and I jump back from the coldness only to get my back against his naked body.
His hand comes around my waist when he pulls me flat against him and leans his head next to my ear.
Small tingles play on my skin from his touch and I have to keep my lips in a tight line to not give away any sound right now.

“That’s what it sounds like now! But you didn’t want me before and I
was easy to get rid of once you got your way with me!” I spit at him and feel him get stiff behind me before he tries to hold me tighter, but I’m not having it anymore.
“Stop it! Let me go.” I start to trash in his arms to get free when he let go of me and I am quick to take several steps away from him and stand under the spray when warm water run down my body and washes off the mask. Turning around to face him, his intense gaze travels all over my body before he lifts his eyes to look at my face.
“What Darian! What do you want from me?” I say and keep his gaze with mine when I see him take a deep breath before he speaks up.
“You,” he says without any hesitation in his voice. I just stand there for a long moment and hear the sound of the water around us. None of this makes any sense to me. There isn’t a chance for us any longer, that went out the door when he rejected me.
“You could have had me, but you rejected me if you remember. You tossed me away in a heartbeat and didn’t even give me a chance to explain myself!” I scream at him with my tears prick behind my eyelids. I can’t help it, it still hurts even after all these years and I have to swallow several times when I see him get a pained expression on his face before he tries to reach for me, but I swat his hand away.

Pushing his hand off me, I take quick steps to the side to get away from him. He looks at me with nothing but pain in his eyes but it’s too late, all of it is too late!
“It doesn’t matter, none of it matters anymore!” I say and wipe away water from my face when he tries to reach for me again but I take another step back.
