Aliza pov
I have been arguing with him the whole car ride over to the doctor, his statement he is in charge threw me over the peek and I will not surrender to it.
With Jeffrey and Noah in the car. I had to try and keep it low but once we were alone in the hospital I couldn’t contain it any longer.
It didn’t do me any better since he ignores how angry I am and carried me wherever we want When I got cleared by the doctor I stopped arguing since he told me I had to take it easy and not get worked up. Easy for him to say that doesn’t have to be around an annoying mate who does whatever he wants against my will
“Can you drive us home in silence!” I say to him when we reach the car and he places me down on my feet outside the car. He cages me in by the car door and I turn to look sternly at him.
“How about a thank you for saving you in the alley!” he says and leans forward, I already know what he means by it, and under no circumstances will it ever happen!
“How about I don’t kick you in your crotch as a thank you!” I say when he starts to chuckle and holds my jaw before he pecks the side of my mouth. He lets go and starts to walk around the car.

I’m fuming with anger and once I get inside the car he places his hand on my thigh. I bet he is trying to annoy me to the point I will tip over and lose my head so I give in to the bond, but it will not happen.
“Keep your hands to yourself!” I say and try to get it off my thigh but he holds a harder grip on it instead without saying a word. I sigh and give up!
Sitting in silence the whole way home the car comes to a stop outside my house, opening the door and quickly getting out I only want to get inside without him
I hear the car doors open on the other side while I hold on to the car door Just waiting for my head to stop pounding when Darian is right in front of me.
“I will make it on my own!” I say when he is about to grab me.
“You aren’t supposed to be alone! I’m coming inside with you!” he says and I hold my hand up for him.
“Heidi is on her way and will be here any minute! You can go back!” I say and see her car driving down the road. I texted her from the car and she was quick to take a day off and got in the car right away to come here.
Letting go of the car door he shut it close after me and start to walk to the other side. Heidi is quick to park the car and jump out to get over to where I stand.

“Fuck, you scared us!” she says and closes the distance between us when she gives me a light hug.
“Sorry!” I say when she lets go and turns to look at me with suspicion in her eyes.
“What?” I ask her when she looks over at Darian but doesn’t say a word
“Nothing‘ Let’s get you inside so you can take a rest!” she says and starts to pull me with her around the car She takes Noah’s hand and starts to walk with us over to my porch Climbing the stairs I turn to look at Darian who is leaning at the car with his arms crossed over his chest while following us with his gaze
I don’t want to admit it but the bond stirs in my body and makes it hard to walk away from him A part of me wants to go back and stay in his arms but that’s just the bond speaking

Reaching the top of the stairs Heidi is by the door and opens it with the spare key she has. Taking one last look at Darian before I follow after her inside the house.
Once the door is closed she walks over with me to the couch in the living room, Noah instantly starts to play with his toys and I wait and listen for his car to drive away before I take a seat.
“Do you want to tell me what happened?” Heidi says and I lean my head back against the couch before I start to explain everything to her, it takes some time until I have filled her in on everything.
“You are lucky they got there in time!” she states and I am grateful for it but annoyed at the same time it had to be him! He knows more than I ever intended to tell him.
“I am!” I say and sigh.
“What are you going to do now?” she asks and I don’t have any good
answers.
“I’m going back to work tomorrow, that’s what I’m going to do!” it’s the only answer I can give her.
“Liz have canceled your massages this week, you don’t have to stress and go back too quick!” she says and that’s a good thing. I have no idea

when I will be able and take any customers with my shoulder this way.
“I still need to do the economy!” I say and try to get up from the couch and make us some coffee.
“What do you want? I can get it for you!” Heidi says and gets up from her seat
“Some coffee!” I see her walk by me and head for the kitchen while I sit back in my seat and wait for her to come back.
“Here!” she says and hands me a cup when she comes back. Taking it I sipped on the coffee and she takes a seat on the couch.
“The others will be here after work‘ They want to see you if you have the energy” she says and I am grateful for this family I’ve got.
“Of course!” I say to her.
The rest of the day we talk and she makes dinner for everyone when they arrive after work. Once I have filled them in on everything we talk about what happened and how we can change our ways to handle the money and make sure everyone feels safe leaving work alone.
Liz helps me to get Noah into bed and once they all have left I take a cup of tea and walk out to my porch where I take a seat and look over at the forest.
Tonight is a full moon and I sit back and sip on my cup of tea. My

head has stopped pounding and my shoulder starts to feel better for every hour. It’s strange how fast I have healed and I don’t understand why it’s happening to me now
Once I have finished my cup I enjoy my time out here. I know Darian has his men around in the forest but I haven’t seen them this whole day Darian’s scent lingers around me and I have to take his hoodie up to my nose and take a deep inhale on it, I haven’t been able to take it off during the whole day. His scent gives me comfort and I want to feel
Hearing a wolf start to howl to the moan it hits me right into my heart, something feels familiar and I turn my head to look at the moon when my gum suddenly starts to hurt bad
Holding my hand over my mouth I get up and rush inside the front door to get me to the mirror in the hallway
Lifting my upper lip I look at my canines and they are longer than they used to be. It doesn’t make any sense, what is going on?
