Chapter 50
Darian pov
Catching her when she is about to fall I don’t care if she said I shouldn’t touch her. She is hurt and I need to take her to my doctor.
She goes slack in my arms and I lift her from the ground and turn around to see my men standing behind me.
“The car is almost here!” Jeffrey says when I walk past them to wait outside the alley.
“Clean this place up and get her things and make sure to cover all the tracks!” I say to Jeffrey and I know he will handle it when I see the cars turning up the parking lot.
Quickly getting over to the limousine Chase opens the door and I get inside with Aliza in my arms, placing her down on the seat I’m quick to strip her off her wet clothes and look over her injuries.
Her shoulder is dislocated but it’s the head wound that has me worried.
“Call the doctor and have him over to my place in fifteen minutes and step on it!” I order out when Chase closes the door and gets inside in the front with the driver.

The car starts to move when I pick her up and place her in my lap, holding her small body close to mine I try to process what she just told
- me.
My conscience already weighs heavy on me for what I have put her through but to learn she lost her wolf because of my rejection is a hard blow.
“The doctor is on his way!” Chase says from the front seat when I look down at her beautiful face and pull a bit of hair away from her face.
“Call Jeffrey and get him to pick our son up! I want him there for their sake!” I tell him and I hope I’m doing the right thing to get him. He doesn’t know who I am to him and I have no idea what to tell him but I have to think of something.
The car speed up and I pull her tiny body harder against mine while I keep my eyes on her face and listen for her steady heartbeat.
“Aliza you have to stay with us!” I tell her when Chase talks from the front seat.
“Jeffrey asks what he is supposed to do if they refuse to let him take Noah!” he says and I don’t care who comes beside Noah as long as he
comes.
“Inform them what happened and anyone that wants to follow with him is allowed!” I say as a response when I feel the driver accelerate and pick up speed.

The drive back to my home doesn’t take long and once we stop outside one of my apartment complexes in the back I wait for Chase to open the door for me before I get outside and make my way quickly over to my personal elevator. My guards open the doors and let me in while I walk right inside the elevator and wait for the others.
Chase pushes the bottom and the elevator starts to move when I feel her stir in my arms. Looking at her I see her face writhed in pain and once the elevator arrives on the right floor and the doors open I quickly walk outside when the doctor is standing in the hallway and waiting for us.
“In my bedroom!” I say to him and walk past him over to my bedroom when I hear him walk behind us. Pushing the door open I get over to my bed and lay her down carefully and take a step back to let the doctor look at her.
I take my time to explain to him when a nurse comes rushing inside with a bag and another nurse comes in with a bowl of water and places it down on the nightstand.
“Let us take care of her and wait outside until I come out!” the doctor says but I have a hard time leaving her when Chase grabs my arm.
“Let them do their job and you should take a shower and get dressed!” he says when he starts pulling on my arm.
“Alright!” I say and my wolf growls when I turn to walk out of the room. None of us wants to leave her!

“Guard the door! I’ll be right back!” I say and quickly walk over to one of my restrooms and take the quickest shower I ever have before I wrap myself in a towel and walk over to get myself some clothes.
Once I’m dressed I walk back and stand outside my bedroom with Chase sitting on a chair outside. He understands I don’t want to talk and lets me be for a while.
Pacing back and forth I hear the doctor and nurses walking around inside the room when a nurse opens the door and walks out with the bowl full of bloody water.
“It explains why you can’t reach her wolf!” Chase says and I drag a hand through my hair.
“Have you ever heard anyone losing their wolf from a rejection before?” he asks and I have heard it happen even if it’s rare and I have never met anyone before I have only heard about it.
“She got tossed out of her pack only minutes after my rejection, it probably became too much for her wolf!” I answer him when the door to my bedroom opens and the doctor comes walking out and closes the door after him.
“How is she?” I say before he speaks up.
He turns his head to look at me.
“She is still unconscious. Her shoulder we have relocated, her head wound is the one I’m concerned about!” he says and that’s my worry as

“Does she heal?” I ask him
“Slowly, very slowly! Not much faster than a human and I believe what she told you is right, she has no wolf!” he says and I drag a hand
through my hair again.
“Fuck!” I burst out while I’m furious at myself for causing her to lose her wolf
“I don’t know enough about it since she is the first one I have come across. I will make some calls and try to find out more, provably will take some time before I get some answers. In the meantime, she needs to rest! She has a concussion from the head wound and needs peace and quiet to heal.” he says and grabs his bag from the floor.
“But she will be alright?” I ask when he gets ready to walk away.
“The cut on her head has started to heal and once the swelling on her brain goes down I believe she will be alright, but the next hours are critical,” he says and I can barely wrap my head around his words.
“The nurses will be here and make sure she gets the best treatment! I’m heading over to the hospital to make some calls. If she gets worse take her straight to the hospital and don’t wait! ” the doctor says and gives me a nod before he walks out of my flat.
Standing in silence for a long moment I have no idea what to do when the elevator dings and the doors open and I hear his small voice shout.
