Aliza pov
Pushing the door open before I carelessly walk right inside and see him sitting behind his desk and another man is sitting in front of him and talking.
When he lifts his gaze and looks at me my heart takes an extra beat and I’m not prepared for the feelings he stirs up in my body!
Seeing him looking at me all over when the secretary rushes by me.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t stop her!” she says when Darian sits back in his seat still with his eyes locked on me and right now I’m starting to feel small and naked in front of his intense gaze.
“Leave us!” he says in his dominant dark voice that sends a wave of heat through my body, I’m taking a step to the side when they all walk past me and leave the room.
Hearing the door close behind me I feel dry in my throat all of a sudden. His eyes are still on me when he slowly gets up from his chair and walks around his desk to lean against it

“You..! You have the nerve!” I say and walk over to where he stands with his stone face only looking at me without any other expression.
“You take the men back and stop keeping a tab on me!” I spit in anger when he looks at me for a long moment before he rises and slowly starts to walk closer to where I am. His eyes flicker to black and a low growl is heard from him, right now his beast is hunting his prey and I am the
prey.
The sight of him almost takes my breath away when I slowly start to back up until I hit a wall with my back, I have no idea what he is after!
“Darian stop it!” I say when he places his hands on the wall and cages me in. His nose comes down to my cheek when he starts sniffing at me and over my neck.
“Darian!” I say and try to sound firm in my voice but it cracks in the end when he takes a large inhale on my shoulder. When he presses his nose to my skin a wave of tingles rushed through my body and I never thought I would be feeling it again. I can’t help the gasp that slips

through my lips in shock and I get weak in my knees when his hand comes down and holds my waist.
“Let your walls down to your wolf and let me see my son, then I will call my men back!” he says next to my ear and his hot breath sweeps over my skin. His hand burns on my skin through the fabric and I never thought my body would deceive me this way!
My mind doesn’t want this but my body craves his touch like a dry dessert craving for water. I have to get my mind to clear up and push him off me, I need to get some distance between us!
He let me go and I take a quick step to the side and try to take deep breaths, have to steady my raising heart when I feel him walk up behind me and it only makes it worse!
“I’m not letting my walls down!” I say and take a step away from him before I turn to look at him. I won’t tell him she is gone, it’s none of his business and I don’t want his pity.
“I have already told you it’s my son and you have nothing to do in his life!” I say and look sternly at him when he takes a step closer and grabs my head with his hand and tilts my face up to look at him.

his face comes closer to mine.
“I’m not your mate! You rejected me, remember! Tossed me aside like yesterday’s garbage” I say through gritted teeth and my anger starts to boil under my skin.
His face is right next to mine and I feel his hot breath sweep over my lips when he is almost touching mine, time stops around me and even how angry I am he is drawing me in. I feel something stir deep down in my body when his scent fills in my lungs and I get lost in the feeling.

His lips brush over mine and I gasp when tingles course through my body, I can’t pull away from him. Don’t have the strength right now to move away from him even if this is so wrong! His scent swirls around me and I have to take a deep breath of it.

“No!” I say in a shaky voice and look at him, he doesn’t say a word and only looks at my face while I try to get my mind to clear up.
“I have already told you! I don’t want you in my life!” I say and this time with certainty in my voice, I’m here to get him to pull his men back and nothing else!
He is about to say something when the office door is opened and I hear a pair of footsteps walking inside his office. Darian keeps his eyes locked on mine and I just stare back at him when I hear someone clear his throat.
Turning my head that way I see his father standing inside the room and when his eyes land on me I see shock written all over him.
“Aliza Grey?” he says and I haven’t heard that name being said to me in years.
“No! She is dead!” I just state and turn back to look at

“You get your men back and leave me alone! We are done here!” I say and take one last look at him before I turn around to walk out of there but he grabs my arm and pulls me to him, I almost lose my balance when his arm comes

“Darian! We have to go! There is some trouble with a pack!” he says and Darian snaps his head to look at him, his eyes glance over before he turns to look at me!
“You’re not going anywhere without my guards or I’m marking you on the spot!” he says and a low growl is heard from his chest
