Chapter 35
Aliza pov
Walking up before my alarm goes off and lifting the quilt off me, placing my feet down on the ground I walk over to the bathroom and get ready for the day.
Yesterday his men followed us around and back home, I where irritated the whole evening, and when I had gotten Noah to sleep after a few hours of play I couldn’t even use my porch to sit outside as I use to.
I’m hoping they have given up and gone home, I have no energy to deal with them today!
After I have washed up I walk over to put on a tight knee- length black skirt and a white shirt, I’m going to have a meeting today and have to dress up a bit.
After I’m done I walk out of the room and head over to
wake my son up, finding him standing by the window and looking outside I walk over to see what he is looking at.
“Mommy those men are still there and they have some loose dogs!” he says and points out the window. Seeing several men and werewolves outside I sigh, not again

“Yes, you are right!” I say to him and turn around to get his clothes ready, I haven’t told him about werewolves yet since I can’t shift and show him, and being in a human town I don’t think it’s a good thing to tell him yet. I have several years before I need to tell him the truth!
“Come we have to get you ready!” I say when he comes over and I start to dress him quickly. Heidi and Liz are doing the breakfast today and I have to hurry and get us done, once we have eaten and he is at kindergarten my meeting
will be at work.
“Mommy, can we have a dog?” Noah says and looks at me with his big smile.
“I don’t have time to take care of one right now, maybe another time!” I say and drag the shirt over his head before taking the jacket on him.
“Come! We got to hurry!” I say and take his hand in mine before grabbing his little bag and heading out of the room.
Coming downstairs with him I take my bag and head over to the door when I open it and Jeffrey and another man standing outside and waiting.
“What are you doing here?” I snap at them and walk out

“Here to assist you in any way we can!” the man says and I shake my head while locking the door and start to walk down the stairs with Noah without talking to them.
Good start on the day and already feel fed up with them.
Reaching the car I unlock it when Jeffrey walks past and opens the door before I get a chance to. Placing Noah in his seat before putting the seat belt on and closing the door.
He holds the door open to me and it takes me everything to not lash out at them, haven’t asked them to be here!
Getting inside in silence I start the car and start to drive when two cars drive ahead of me and two behind me. He got to be kidding with me!
Grabbing a tighter grip on the steering wheel I’m focusing on driving to work.
“Mom who’re those men?” Noah asks and I’m surprised he didn’t ask me about them yesterday.
“Some new neighbors!” I say when I can’t think of a thing to
say.

Parking the car behind the job I’m quickly out of the car
when Jeffrey already has opened the door to the back. He stands there with a suspicious smile on his lips and even if I know what they are up to I try to keep it together.
I get Noah and me inside the restaurant when I place him down by the table and take a tablet he can watch while I walk over to the kitchen. Finding Heidi and Liz already making breakfast.
“Not a good day?” Heidi says when I come inside and walk right over to cut some fruit.
Holding the knife up I point at the door but am too angry to answer when I’m quick to take a cutting board and a melon I start slicing in my anger.
“Hey! The melon hasn’t done you wrong! Let the knife go and take a step back from it!” Liz says and chuckles when she takes the knife from me and starts slicing it instead.
“He got some nerve!” I state when they both start to chuckle at me.
The breakfast goes fast and once it’s done one of the girls takes our kids to kindergarten today while I head straight over to my office and start working, I get the meeting done and when he leaves I finish my work at the computer before Liz comes inside the office.

“Just wanted to give you a heads up before you walk out here!” she says and I snap my head up and look at her.
“Why?” I just ask her when she shrugs her shoulders.
“Just a little heads up to keep your cool!” she says and gives me a wink before opening the door and walking out, now I need to know what she is meaning and turn off the computer before heading out after her.
Reaching the door I look outside and see several of his guards standing inside the room, beside the door and the reception desk like some big bulky security guards. Turning my head a man is standing close to my office and you could think they are guarding some sort of royalty the way they are standing.
“What are they doing here!” I burst out in anger when Liz points to the restaurant and I quickly walk over there and see it’s the same in there and all out on the sidewalk.
“Get the kids today and I will be back!” I say and head over to my office and grab my bag before I stomp out of my room. I’m furious about what he is doing and my patience finally snapped!
“Where are you going?” she asks when I walk past her.

Chapter 35
“I’ve had it!” I just state and stomp out of the entrance door and head right for my car. Jeffrey stands by the car with a smirk on his lips when I push by him and get in my car and quickly drive away from there.
I see two cars follow me in the rear mirror when I drive out of the city and head for his office building. I looked it up last night when I couldn’t sleep!
Stepping on the gas to get there as quickly as I can and see the cars keep up with me.
Arriving outside his building in less than twenty minutes I know I have driven against the speed limit when I park the car right in front and at this moment I’m too angry to care about getting a parking ticket!
The entrance doors are opened by a security guard while Jeffrey and two other men are walking behind me inside the entrance, walking right over to the elevator I see it’s already down and get right in with the others when Jeffrey pushes the button.
No one says a word inside the elevator and once I have reached the floor I get out first when I see several offices and try to see the names on the doors.
“Ma’am who are you going to see!” I hear a secretary say when I walk past her

“Darian!” I just state and keep walking when I hear her rush after me.
“Have you booked an appointment!” she says when I see his name on a door ahead of me.
“Oh! He knows I will be coming!” I say and keep walking.
