Aliza pov
She looks at me like I have grown two heads for a moment before she starts to speak.
“You can’t sense they are wolves at all?” she asks me and I have to shake my head no at her. There was a long time ago since I could smell them from a distance, these days I have to be closer to them before I can be sure they are wolves, in other ways, I often figure it out by looking at their body.
“No, I can’t!” I say when I see another man walk over to the one standing on the other side.
“Well they are around every corner and I thought I saw some on the back before I got down here!” Liz says and I bet they are Darian’s men but I can’t sense if they belong to his pack either and none of the others except Heidi met them yesterday.
“I want you to come with me this morning when we leave the kids and go shopping!” I say to Heidi when she looks up from her plate.
“What do you have in mind?” she asks me while I keep my eyes looking at the men when both turn this way and look at the restaurant.
“I want to know if the men outside belong to him!” I only say and take

another sip when I turn to look at her. She is looking out for a short moment before she turns her head and looks at me with a smile on her lips.
“I’ve got an idea!” she says and chuckles before she makes sure her daughter has eaten up before she gets up from her seat and heads over to the kitchen. I have no idea what she is planning but whatever it is I’m helping out.
“I’m coming too!” Liz says when our sons are done eating and we both walk after Heidi to the kitchen. Finding her doing sandwiches and getting some takeaway mugs she fills with coffee, she is fast to put everything on two trays when she places the last sandwich down on it and grabs an overfull tray before she turns to look at us.
“One of you has to take the other and follow after me!” she says and I know what she plans to do but I’m not going out there to meet them yet. Liz is quick over to take a tray
“This opportunity I won’t miss!” she says and laughs when she starts to walk out of the kitchen and follow after Heidi.
Looking at them when they walk out I pour myself another cup of coffee before walking out to the restaurant and stop by a window to look at them when they approach the men.
Seeing Liz sway with her hips I roll my eyes at her, that’s just her, and I don’t know how many times she has gotten into trouble by being seductive just because she thinks it’s funny and she ends up with men she got a hard time shaking off her. Will that woman ever learn?

It doesn’t take long until I see several other men come walking up to her and when it looks like all are there two more come walk up and when I count them there are ten men there, all men have the same body build, and is clear they all are werewolves.
Liz walks around and laughs at them while she serves them coffee, several of them join in her laughter and I sigh at the sight in front of me when I see more than one give her some extra attention.
Right now it would be good if she was gifted with another second chance mate and she could finally settle down and stop her ways. But I don’t have any hope for it to happen since it’s obvious the moon goddess is punishing people instead of blessing them!
Sipping on my coffee when I see them give the last sandwich and Liz winked at the men before they start to walk back to the restaurant. Looking at the men they are standing there and drinking coffee and eating sandwiches while they look at them when they walk back.
Hearing Liz laugh when they open the door to the restaurant and walk inside I turn my head to look their way when Heidi comes walking up beside me.
“No doubt! They are from him!” she says and takes a look outside when I feel anger bubbling up in my body. Why would he send men here? To keep tabs on me?
“Now you have to tell us what it’s all about!” Liz says when I take my cup and turn around to get inside the kitchen. Our children are looking at the tablets on some show and I know they will be occupied for a while.

Hearing the others walk after me inside the kitchen I place my cup down on the counter and lean my elbows at it when I place my head in my hands. I might as well tell them because I’m sure it won’t be the last time he will be walking inside here.
“He’s Noah’s father!” Heidi says and I’m not surprised she saw it yesterday.
“Yes!” I say and take my head from my hands and raise from the counter to look at them.
“What! I missed your ex–mate and he knows about his son? That’s why the men are here?” Liz shrieks out and I motion for her to talk in a lower voice, don’t want anyone else to hear.
“Yes he found out yesterday and I am certain the men are here because of it!” I say and sigh when I take my cup to place it down in the sink.
“Damm it, I missed it all!” Liz says and throws her hands in the air when I get back to the counter and wait for her to stop ranting about missing the most action that has happened here for years.
“He just let you leave yesterday and didn’t argue with you about his son?” Heidi asks and I drag a hand down my face.
“No, he found where I live and came by last night!” I say when Liz leans forward to be sure she doesn’t miss a word when I try to speak low.

“What happened?” Heidi asks and I see she is concerned on her face.
“Did he threaten to take Noah from you?” she says and crosses her arms over her chest and I can see she is getting worked up and ready to fight if that would be the case.
“No he didn’t say anything about it, we have another big problem!” I say and try to work up some courage to say it out loud.
“What problem?” Liz says when I take too long and she is impatient as usual
“We are second chance mates!”
