Aliza pov
Stepping outside the door of my house with my son behind me I instantly get a feeling I’m being watched, it’s a strange feeling and I take my time to scan the area with my eyes for a long moment before I turn around and lock the door to my house.
“Come!” I say to my son and take his hand in mine while we slowly start to walk on the porch and down the stairs. Trying to listen for any sound or movement but since I don’t have my wolf’s hearing I can’t pick up a thing.
There is no point in trying to smell a scent either and I’m not much better than a human at this point. Stopping in my track when I thought I heard a sound coming from the forest and take a moment to look that way but I don’t see a thing.
“Mommy I’m hungry!” my son says beside me and I have to focus on what I should be doing.
“Let’s go!” I say and walk down the stair and try to shake the feeling off me but all the way over to the car I feel eyes on me. Closing the door after us when we are inside I put the key in the engine and start the car.

start to drive away. I keep my eyes on the rear mirror as much as I can when my house disappears behind us.
try to shake the feeling of me when I drive the whole way over to work, I need to be focused on what needs to be done. I know we are fully booked today as well and I have to get to the store once I have given the children breakfast and got them to kindergarten.
Turning off the road and parking the car behind the restaurant I turn off the engine when I see a black car with tinted windows driving by in the road, maybe I’m just worked up since he found us yesterday but I know it won’t be the last I see of him and I wouldn’t be surprised if he has someone to keep a tab on me.
Then a thought strikes me when I’m opening the door and get out of the car. What if he goes to Noah’s kindergarten and tries to get him from there? I have to talk to the employees over there but what do I say?
When I signed him in there I said his father was dead, thought it was easier that way to be free from any questions. But now I can’t tell them I lied and his father is alive!
Sighing to myself I have to think of something and talk to them when 1 get there.
Opening the door to my son I help him out of the car and close the doors after him when we start to walk over to the entrance of the restaurant and unlock the door. Looking at my watch there are at least thirty minutes before most of the other mothers come down with their children to eat in the restaurant and I try to get as much ready as I can.

“What do you want to eat?” I ask my son when we walk inside the restaurant and turn on the lights before we come to the kitchen.
“Pancakes!” he says and gets up on his small chair we have in the. kitchen for our children when we are alone in here.

Pulling out all ingredients that are needed I place them down on the counter and start to prepare for pancakes with the rest of the breakfast.
Once it’s almost ready and the coffee machine is cleaned and the new coffee is done I hear the first one walk inside the restaurant with a stroller. We have a few mothers in the apartment besides some that work here but live in other places.
“Good morning!” comes a voice from one of the young mothers who work here, everyone is welcome for breakfast in the morning and often we walk together with our children to kindergarten once we are done.
“Good morning!” I hear Heidi’s voice from the door and I know I told her to take a morning at home and rest before getting down here but as usual, she is one of the first here.
“Didn’t I tell you to take a morning and rest?” I tell her when she comes walking inside the kitchen to help me get the last done.
“I couldn’t sleep any longer! Too curious about who that man was yesterday, you have to tell me!” she says and grabs herself a cup of coffee when she leans over the counter to look at me while she sips on her coffee.

“No, we will not talk about it here!” I say and give her a glance when Liz comes walking inside the kitchen and takes a place beside Heidi when she looks at me with a smirk on her lips.
“Spill the beans!” she says and wiggles her eyebrows at me.
Shaking my head at this when I place the last pancake down on the plate.
“Now is not the time nor the place to talk about it! Our kids need their food before we have to start working!” I say to them in a firm voice to have them understand I can’t talk about it now.
Both look at each other before they start to take the plates to help set the tables for the kids.
“We will talk about it later! You are not off the hook!” Liz says and points with her finger at me and I’m not surprised about it at all, she never lets anything go if she wants to know.
I see them walk out of the kitchen with the plates when I get over and fix myself another cup of coffee before I start to walk after them. Coming out of the restaurant they have set a table for us while we all take our seats.
Sipping on my coffee when I have served my son some pancakes I see a man standing across the street and talking on the phone while looking over to the restaurant. Placing my cup down I look at him for a long moment when I see him wave at another man that walks by on this side.

“What are you looking at?” Liz asks when I follow the man with my gaze when he walks past the windows before he disappears behind a
corner.
“Just find it strange with the man across the street that looks over here!” I say and take a mouth of my coffee while turning my head to
look at her.
“Yes I thought it was strange with all the wolves running around this building this morning but I don’t complain, they are pretty nice to look at! Some eye candy is never wrong!” she says and I swallow my coffee wrong when I hear her say this and start to cough heavily!
“You’re telling me there are wolves outside?” I ask and look at her
