Chapter 134A
Aliza pov
A shiver runs through my body when he holds his lips to my skin. I close my eyes when he starts to place kisses over my neck and up my jaw
Everywhere he touches me, tingles play on my skin when he kisses the seam of my lips.
“Let me mark you,” he says before he catches my lips with his. Answering the kiss back, I push my tongue into his mouth and deepen the kiss.
He suddenly breaks the kiss, and I see his eyes glance over when there is a knock on the door. His father comes walking inside with Chase beside him.
“It’s urgent,” Chase says, and I look back at Darian when he places his hand on my cheek and looks at me.
“I have to go. There is an urgent Alpha meeting regarding the latest events. I have to go, will be away for a day,” he says before he gives my lips a peck.
“You will be safe inside the pack grounds,” he says when Jeffrey comes quickly inside the office.
“All the Alphas are on their way over there, we have to go now!” he says in a rush.
“Wait in the car, I will be right out,” Darian says before I see Chase and Jeffrey leave out the door.
We are alone inside the office, beside his father.
“This fight will come to an end, hopefully soon after this meeting,” he says when he grabs my waist and pulls me closer to him. He takes a firm grip on my jaw and keeps his gaze on mine.
“I’ll give you until I come back. Then I will mark you and complete the bond. I’m not budging on this, you are mine,” he says, and I see his determination in his eyes.

“Just come back soon!” I say when he captures my lips with his quick before he lets go and turns to his father. I don’t know if I’m ready to let him mark me when he comes back, but at least it gives me time to look through the papers.
“Go, I will take her home,” his father says before Darian walks out the door and leaves us alone in the office.
I feel his father’s eyes on me when I look at the empty door for a long time. He is not coming back I know that, but my thoughts are everywhere at the moment.
“Let’s go,” his father says when I turn my head and look at the papers on his desk. Walking over, I pick them up and hold them close to me while I turn around and see him standing by the door and waiting for
- me.
“Alright,” I say, walking to the door and out into the hallway. Seeing several guards standing outside in the hallway, we start to make our way toward the entrance.
We walk in silence, and I appreciate it when I have a lot on my mind. I’m trying to process everything he told us, maybe this is why the moon goddess gave me Darian as my second chance. For him to help me get my wolf back.
Walking through the entrance, I see several cars standing to the side and waiting for us. A guard opens the door when we reach the first car, and we are fast to climb inside.
Sitting in the back seat, I place the folders down on my lap when the doors close and the driver starts the car.
Looking out the window, I see us drive by houses while my mind is racing with different thoughts.
If I get her back, I will get my wolf’s hearing back, along with the smells and all the rest of the threats that come with a wolf.
But that’s not what I long for the most. It’s the freedom when we run in wolf form through the forest, just me and her.
