This is a complete mess in my head, I hear the doctor say something before she lets go of my hand and starts to walk out of the room.
It all makes sense when I think back on everything that happened, my mother said I should start taking some pills to help me with my cramps when I got my period. I thought it sounded good when she gave me that suggestion and it didn’t take many days until she had fixed the pills without me having to go to a doctor.
I did find it strange that they would just give me the pills without having to go there first but I never questioned it.
The first time I took the pills I got some changes in my usual cycle and started to bleed in between the first two times, my mother said it was usual and it would soon be all good.
That where four months ago, then for my two last cycles I had this worse pain in the middle of the cycle right about when I would ovulate. I didn’t understand why it happened.
But it all makes sense!

When they told me I had to seduce the heir of the Black family I told them I wouldn’t do it because I was saving myself for my mate, my mother said I didn’t have to think about getting pregnant because I where safe with the pills and no one cares today if you are a virgin when you meet your mate or not.
They told me I had to do it for the sake of the pack, without it the pack would soon be bankrupt and they were going to use my damaged reputation when we had spent a night together as a way to force the Black to pay money for it.
Now I know that wasn’t the real reason, they have planned this for months!
My regular cycle would mean I had the period when the banquet where hold and with this information I bet they changed my cycle to have me ovulate when it where held instead and by doing so they did everything they could to increase my chances of getting pregnant.
I feel nauseous by this revelation and I have to get up from the bed, pacing around in the room I can’t believe my mother would betray me like that! Did she not love me at all?
Placing my hand on the wall I have to steady myself, her betrayal hurts more than I ever thought it would do. They planned this!
I was just a brick in their game and if I were still there and pregnant with his child they would use it without any hesitation, who knows to what extremes they would go to

Hearing the door open again the doctor walks inside and sees me standing against the wall when she gets over to where I am.
“Oh, dear! Come and take a seat again before you fall!” she says and starts pulling me over to the bed again, taking a seat I have to pull myself together.
“I went and checked with the nurse and our psychologist will be here on Friday if you want to talk to her! She is currently in another city two days a week!” the doctor says and when she mentions what city she works in it has me snapping out of my thoughts, I can never see her since she is working in the city which is run by the Black family. I can never risk meeting anyone from there even if it’s a very long shot they would find out who I am, but it’s not zero and I have to keep away from her.
“Thank you for the offer but I will be alright! Just a bit shocked by it all to be honest!” I say and try to sound convincing.
“Alright! But you know she is here if you ever need to talk with her, now I think we should check your pregnancy and see what’s going on. You have to take off your clothes on the bottom and lay back on the bed before you place your legs here!” she explains to me and I have been examined once before when I was younger and had these painful
cramps.
Standing up I start to undress and place my pants on a chair and my shoes under, I’m glad I put on a longer tank

Getting back to the bed I lay down and place my feet where they are supposed to be and wait for her to start examining
me.
“This will be a bit cold!” she says before she uses that cold strange stick that is some kind of camera, she turns off the light in the room before she turns on a screen and looks at it. I’m completely focused on the screen when a black bean is shown on the screen before it disappears.
“Well it’s only one!” she says and I look at the screen when the black spots come back again, she zooms in on it when see a steady heartbeat.
“As you can see it’s early in the pregnancy and here you have a steady heartbeat, but I would say you are further along than just four weeks. Well, that is if the father isn’t a high-rank wolf or you!” she says and I already know what she means by it!
This child has Alpha blood from both parents and I know this pregnancy will go by fast! Looking at the screen and the little black bean I can’t wrap my head around that’s a child and it’s growing inside my womb.
The doctor clicks on the screen before she pulls the camera out and turns on the lights again.
“You have some days to figure out what you want to do, week tops if you want to terminate this pregnancy.

This is my child and I will never get rid of it, whatever bad situation I have been through these last weeks I will make it. This is my meaning to keep fighting and I could never get rid of it even if I’m alone, I could never kill my own child even how hard my life is.
“I’m keeping it!” I say and get up to take on my clothes when she is writing down something in the folder.
When I’m dressed I walk back to the bed and wait for her to
be done.
“Whatever you want to do we are here and support you! I need to know more about the father to understand how fast this pregnancy will go and if he is in the picture!” the doctor says and I look down at my lap.
“It will go very fast and he is not in the picture and it will stay that way!” I say when she grabs my hand with hers.
“Don’t worry! I have a group of single mothers without a family beside them if you want to be introduced, you could find friends among them!” the doctor says and I can’t believe what a kind and carrying person she is! She has to be in her fifties and has probably seen a lot during her
years.
“Thank you!” I say when she let go of my hand.
“I will book you to come here in two weeks again to look at you and we will talk about your blood test that will arrive

“Thank you!” I say when I walk past her and out of the room. Coming outside of the health center I open the envelope and see a note with a day and time I should be back here and behind it is a picture of my little bean, I’m lost looking at it when someone walks up behind me.
