“Hi, little bean! How are you doing with Grandma and Grandpa? Are you having fun?” I ask him when Liz gets up on her feet and walks over to where I am.
“Can’t we call back in video call so I can see my son as well?” she asks, and that sounds like a good idea. I want to see Noah too.
“Noah, I’m going to hang up and call you back on video so we can see each other. I’ll be right back.” I say and hang up the phone before I press video call and wait for him to pick it up.
It only takes two signals until he answers, and we get to see our boys and talk to them for a long moment. This is much funnier than going through some catalogs when they show us everything they have given them in toys and we get to see their playroom. I don’t even know if they want to come back to us after this is over, with the way they get spoiled.
Once we have said goodbye and hung up the phone, we both feel exhausted while we look around at the floor and the boxes.
“Let’s just place them back, and we can fix dinner instead,” Liz says to

me when I start to pick up what we have scattered around us on the floor.
“Sounds like the best idea for now,” I say to her in response when we quickly get everything back to where it should be.
Leaving all the boxes in the room when we get out and heading toward the kitchen. Finding a maid inside doing dinner, I stop by the doorway when Liz walks past me.
“How luxurious to get every meal cooked for you! I think me and Chase are going to move in here for good,” she says, heading over to see what she is cooking.
“I bet it’s good!” she says when I take a few steps over to the counter and lean my elbows on it when Liz walks over and takes a stand beside
- me.
“I just know we have to go back to work soon, we can’t just leave everything for Heidi and Frederic to solve with all the girls. I feel bad for them that we just leave them behind.” I say to Liz when she turns and looks at me.

“I know, but what is the option? Close it until this is over?” She asks, and I can’t afford to have it closed too long, I still need to pay for everything, and all the girls need their salaries.
“I don’t know Liz! But if Heidi isn’t there and runs it, then we have to close, but she will be exhausted if she has to run everything by herself.” I say in response when Liz’s phone starts to ring.
“Just the one we are talking about.” She answers, and I understand it’s Heidi on the other end. She falls silent for a moment before she pushes off the counter and turns around.
“Wait, hold up! What’s happening?” She says in a hard tone, and I instantly get worried.
