Aliza pov
Looking at Darian when he picks up his phone and places it in his pocket.
“Why not now?” I ask him. I know what I talked to the doctor about before, and I would like to get a chance to talk to him alone. I don’t want to discuss it when I have no idea how it could happen.
“He had to go away for a couple of days. We will talk to him when he comes back,” Darian says, helping me get off his desk when he takes a step to the side. I feel frustrated, and I want to know what it is right now, but I guess there is no other option than to wait.
“I’m going to work, and you can call me anytime you need, I’ll be back later,” he says and places an arm around my waist before he starts to walk with me toward the door.

I don’t have a phone, if you remember.” I say to him when he starts to chuckle at me.
“That’s an easy fix,” he says, stopping by the door before he leans down and pecks my lips.
“Now I have to go.” He grabs my waist before he turns around and walks with us out of the office.
“Then what am I supposed to do here? I can’t just sit and wait, doing nothing.” I protest when he walks with us out in the hallway and Chase comes walking up with Liz.
“You don’t have to worry, your hands will be full, and Liz will keep you company,” he says before he just turns toward the elevator and starts to walk over there with Chase. I see a guard come up with the elevator and hold the door open when they get over there.
Once inside, he turns around and looks at me all the way until the doors close, and I curse out loud.

“It’s a damn prison if I’m going to have to stay in here all the time until the threat is gone. What am I supposed to do?” I say out loud while raising my hands in surrender. Liz starts laughing at me before she grabs my arm.
“I could think of worse places you could be stuck in, and I know we will have our hands full in a little while,” she says, sounding happy.
“Like what? I didn’t get to finish work, and all the papers I brought to my house are still there.” I say in protest when she starts pulling me with her over to the kitchen.
“Yes, and no one is going to do your work for you. It will still be there once this blows over,” she says sounding cheerful.
“And you? Why are you still here if you are free to go?” I ask her when she starts laughing at me.
“Let’s just say my new temporary job description is being your prison guard,” she says and laughs while I chuckle at her.

“Yes, I have to say you are the best prison guard, and I wouldn’t change you for anyone. I wouldn’t have been in such trouble if it weren’t for your help,” I say and get over to the coffee machine when she walks after me and takes down two cups.
“Ah! Perhaps it wasn’t the best idea we have ever had, but it went well either way, except for your home, and we all got to hear you moan,” she says, and I swallow my saliva wrongly by her words and start to cough.
She laughs at me when it takes me a moment to be able to speak again.
“You did what?” I burst out when I can find my voice again.
“No, not everyone. so chill. Just me, Heidi, and Chase. The rest were in the forest, and we tried to talk about other stuff and guard around the lawn, but it was hard not to hear when you went at it for hours,” she says, laughing when I feel my cheeks heat up from her words.
“It’s not making it any better,” I say taking the cups from her hand.

“Now, stop being so dramatic! I really do think it looks nice! I love to get those from men, even if they doesn’t last longer on me than tops a few minutes. Just enjoy it,” she says when I walk over to his couch and take a seat with my coffee.
“That’s enough talking about me! What are we supposed to do now?” I say and have had enough of talking about this subject.
“We wait a bit. Drink your coffee and chill,” she says, and I see her turn on the tv but it doesn’t take long until I get restless and need to get up from the couch.
“Have you talked to Heidi?” I ask her when she places her cup on the table and switches channels.
“Not yet! Chase said they had talked to the guards and were going to get her from there. She was a pain to get to listen to, and she refused to get any help from the guards. She also cleaned the house like crazy. She even started to take up the floor in the hallway by herself.” Liz says, and I smile at the thought of Heidi.
This is just typical for her to not agree to anyone helping her unless

Hearing the elevator arrive, I turn to look at the hallway when I see several of his guards come walking inside with boxes and more boxes. They stop in the hallway and place them down when Liz gets up from the couch.
“That was about time,” she says, and walks out in the hallway when I follow after her.
A guard stands there with a smaller box in his hands that he gives to me when I walk over.
“From Darian!” he says, and I take the box from him and look at it, surprised.
