“Frederic!” I say and hit him in a teasing way on his upper arm.
“Yes, princess!” he says and laughs for a brief moment when I smile at him and shake my head.
“I don’t know Frederic, it’s a mess!” I say when he stops laughing and looks at me shortly.
“Then tell me what’s bothering you, I might be able to help,” he says in an honest tone and I know he would try if he could.

“I would be his weak link if we complete the mating. If anyone wants to kill him and take over his pack they only need to kill me and he would be easy to take on, and I have nothing to put up against a wolf this way! And to keep me safe he would have to lock me up in his home” I say and sigh.
