Aliza pov
Waking up to several angry voices, I try to listen for a voice I recognize when I hear Darian’s father bark out orders.
Opening my eyes, I find I’m inside Darian’s bedroom, and looking toward the window I see lights coming from the side of the curtains. I guess it’s morning already and I have been out the whole night.
Feeling for my body I don’t have any more pain and I guess someone rescued me from the wolves and brought me up here. Sitting up in the bed I feel just fine and nothing is wrong with me, what happened after I blacked out?
“Who is responsible for this?” I hear Darian bark out and the anger behind his words has me tossing the quilt off me and I’m quick up on my feet. Looking at me I’m dressed in one of his shirts, seeing my legs have healed and not a bruise is left I start to lift the shirt to look at my ribs when I hear him boom out again and whatever it is I have to get out there.
Walking over the floor to the door I open it and take quick steps down the hallway when I hear Liz speak up.
“I left and she followed after me! It’s my fault!” she says and I hear guilt in her voice when I see them around the corner standing outside the elevator. His father is there and Liz is with Chase. His Gamma

Jeffrey stands to the side with some more guards I have seen before.
“I told you to stay beside her side all the time and keep her safe while I was away and you went against my orders!” Darian booms out and I feel his anger wash over me, it almost takes my breath away.
“Darian calm down, she is fine!” I hear Chase say but it’s only like putting gasoline over a fire and Darian’s angry Alpha aura slips out and I see everyone show their neck to him in submission. I have to place a hand on the wall for some support from his anger.
“Darian!” I whisper out in pain when I see him swirl around and his anger is written all over his face. His eyes meet mine and I see him take a deep breath to calm his rage.
Swallow several times when his anger lifts over the room and I can take my hand off the wall. Walking closer to where they are his eyes don’t leave mine and I see how angry he is. Stopping a bit in front of him I have to take a deep breath before I start to speak, I feel his angry feelings through the bond and it is hard to focus
“It wasn’t her fault! I walked after her by my own free will” I say and hope he can drop his anger on her, she isn’t at fault here!
“I told you specifically to stay inside here!” he booms out to me and I try to say something when he only growls at me and I close my mouth again. Seeing him take a step closer I almost want to take a step back and keep the distance between us.
His eyes flicker to black once and I see him breathe deep a few times

before his usual‘ eyes come back.
The way he is looking at me I know he isn’t done by far.
“You went against my orders and put not just yourself in danger but me and the whole pack by going out there!” he yells at me in his dark voice and I have to take a step back from the anger he sends out.
“I…” I start to say when he moves a step closer.
“Darian, you need to calm down! Everything is alright!” I hear his father say when he walks up behind Darian and places his hand on his shoulder when Darian turns his head to the side and growls at him.
Just hearing him this way and seeing his anger I understand he has a hard time containing his wolf at the moment. I know what I did is a big cause of the anger he has toward me right now and he isn’t wrong.
