Isabella’s POV
My move was all it took for Alexander to completely take control. He pushed me further into the bed, his arm wrapping itself around my waist as he deepened the kiss.
The kiss was long and sweet, causing me to moan in his mouth and leaving me panting when he pulled away from me. So much for breathing though because his lips immediately latched onto my neck leaving toe–curling kisses on every spot and kissing especially long and hard in the curve between my neck and shoulder sending bolts of pleasure down to my nether regions.
When I felt his teeth slightly graze the skin, I almost felt embarrassed by how loud I moaned.
He pulled away and looked at me through hooded eyes, the raw hunger I saw there excited and scared me at the same time. His actions were like someone intoxicated as he pulled my top over my head and stared at my chest.
Never been more glad to have worn a bra with the clasp at the front, I went ahead to undo it, freeing my breasts and instantly increasing the tension in the room.

causing my eyes to flutter shut as a shiver ran down my spine.
He kept stroking the nipple in the slowest, most painful motion and finally, my eyes flew open about to cry out my frustration when I saw him gazing at my breasts as though lost in wonder, his eyes glazed over.
His eyes met mine, “You’re so beautiful, Isabella. So fucking beautiful, it’s unbelievable.” He whispered before latching his lips onto my already overstimulated boob causing me to cry out instantly.
He attacked my boobs even more than he did my neck and I was sure he would leave an even darker mark than he no doubt left up there. By the time his fingers trailed up my thigh and brushed against my panties, I was already a moaning mess. My moans filled the room and most likely the ears of any nearby werewolf and he had barely touched me yet.
The tempo suddenly increased by a frightening amount. His movements were a lot quicker, a lot more urgent and I could see what was coming next.
“W–wait.” I gasped, the words flying out of my mouth before could stop them or swallow them back at least.
Alexander stopped instantly and his eyes gazed into mine in concern while I looked away, trying to calm the way my heart was beating. “What’s wrong?” He asked carefully.
Grabbing the blanket, I pushed it over my breasts as I sought for the words. “I stink.” I blurted out. “I had a long day and I need a shower.” I rushed out quickly. It was the dumbest excuse ever and I cringed internally. Alexander apparently thought so too because his brow wrinkled in confusion.

Not answering him and not giving him a chance to ask any further questions, I got up and disappeared into the
bathroom, closing the door behind me.
When I came back out minutes later, the room was empty, the
bed had been remade and the broken dishes and ruined
dinner had been cleared off the floor.
Sighing, I secured the belt of my robe around me, not bothering to change into my nightwear before going out to look for him. I went into the living room first and I didn’t need to look any further.
He was fully clothed, I noted wondering why I had imagined that he wouldn’t be. I shamelessly took him in as he stepped away from behind the counter where he was filling a tumbler with drinking water, my eyes trailing from his unruly hair down to his…I gasped. Was he still hard?
“I love the way you stare like you don’t know that I know.”
I walked into the room as he walked into the living room from the kitchen, taking his laptop from the side table and placing it on his lap. “Was that sarcasm?”
“Maybe.” He took a sip from his glass, “Maybe not.”
I playfully glared at him and I saw the corner of his lips raise in a small smile making me instantly relax. I hadn’t even realized that I was quite tense until that moment but I wasn’t
surprised.
We were in the middle of a very heated make–out session which I had practically initiated only for me to pull away,

declaring that I needed to take a bath before proceeding to run into the bathroom and lock myself inside.
“Are you hungry?” I asked him.
He looked up at me, “You already ruined dinner.” He said with a teasing smile. “What could be on the menu now?”
That last question seemed almost suggestive and I forced myself to believe that I was being delusional. “I can’t think of anything else. How do pancakes for dinner sound?”
“I’ll have anything you make.”
I narrowed my eyes at him, “Be careful of the things you ask for.” I said like I was the spooky witch from children’s cartoons. Alexander chuckled, shaking his head at me as he shut the laptop and gently pushed me down from the arm of the chair where I was perched as he stood up himself.
“Come on. Now I’ve begun to crave pancakes.”
I made the batter from scratch and Alexander sat down on the counter watching my every step like a kid learning their mother’s signature recipe. In this case though, it felt like such a homely scene between my mate and me, it made me feel
warm.
I piled up the pancakes onto a plate before opening the dish at the side and spooning out the leftover chicken salad. I had given him the bigger helping before and left this smaller one for myself since I had already eaten with his parents and wasn’t all that hungry.
Now that his was in the trash can, I was going to let him have mine because I was really eager for him to try it and I was so

“Hey! There was more chicken salad.” Alexander accused, his forehead wrinkling in confusion and a small pout of betrayal forming on his lips. I giggled at how cute he looked at that moment. I didn’t think I had ever seen Alexander as cute
before. It was fun to discover more sides of him.
I tried not to watch him as he ate even though I was eager to see his reaction. Alexander had always been the one to cook and he was a great cook. I was really going against a lot. I munched on my pancake quietly, my eyes glued in front of me so I didn’t glue them beside me instead.
Alexander cleared his throat, “This hardly seems fair.” I turned to him, my bottom lip immediately caught under my teeth. “You can’t be a good cook too! I’ll no longer have anything going for me!”
I was silent for like five seconds, blinking the entire time before I burst into laughter. “You have a lot of things going on for you Alexander.” There was a pause before I asked, “But is it actually good?”
He looked at me in disbelief, “One day I’m going to get back at you for ruining the greater part of it.”
I giggled, “That was your fault.” I grinned, biting into my pancake as it faltered.
Alexander was definitely about to have sex with me and probably even mark me back there and I chickened out. I know we had forgiven each other and decided to lock the past in the past but I could not help it when his words from the past came back to haunt me:

The last time we made out and a whole lot of other times when he insinuated that I would sleep with anyone. Did he still think of me as a sex–hungry whore? The thought made me feel sick to my stomach.
When I looked at him, he was already looking at me, his brow furrowed as though he could read my mind. I did a double take, choking on my food and he was quick to slide a cup of
water to me.
After drinking, I sighed and turned to him. Although he could not read my mind, he could most definitely feel my mood dampen.
“Why does it seem like you don’t want me to visit your parents?”
Alexander shifted in his chair so he could face me properly. “That’s not exactly the case. I just didn’t want to impose on you. I didn’t want to make you feel uncomfortable in case you weren’t ready yet.”
My eyes softened, “You could have just asked me. It was sudden so I felt quite jittery, I admit. But your mom immediately made me feel at home and it was a lovely visit. Her cooking is so good, I see where you get your skills from.”
He smiled, “I need to see where you get your skills from.”
“My mom is not exactly the kitchen person. I’m self–taught.” | declared proudly.
“Qh?” He chuckled.
“But seriously, it wasn’t even the first time I would meet your parents. You forget our parents are good friends and I’ve met

your parents countless times. There was nothing to be worried about.”

“I see.” He said, grabbing his and my empty plates and taking them to the sink. “Shh, it’s only fair.” He said when I protested.
We talked for a while into the night and I ended up being able to convince him of my need to be back at work after whining endlessly about how boring it was to stay at home all day. He agreed until my official Luna coronation though, but I decided that would do.
