Isabella’s pov
I woke up to a slight headache and body ache the next day. I wasn’t Sire when I had fallen asleep but I definitely needed more. Alexander was beside me, I sensed him before I felt him with my hands.
I rolled towards him and wrapped my hands around his waist from behind and he groaned out and pulled me closer with his hands.
“You are awake,” I whispered into his ears and he grunted out.

I didn’t want to keep things from him but this was a sensitive topic that I was sure he wouldn’t take lightly. I decided to tell him about It another day, when I wasn’t dying of a headache.
“What are you doing here, anyway, I thought you’d be out training by now.” I asked him.
“I thought I’d sleep In a bit and also wanted to make sure you were okay. You fell asleep pretty quickly last night before I could arrange for the maids to bring in some snacks for you.”
Oh that was right, I hadn’t eaten all day yesterday as I was worried about Chloe. that explained the slight head ache and body ache. It was my body’s way of telling me how little I took care of it yesterday.

I rolled my eyes at his exaggeration. I’d eaten in the morning with him but of course Alexander would not consider just breakfast a meal especially when I spent the better part of the day using it up.
“Lisa will be up with your food in a minute.”
I didn’t think it was possible to love him more than I did but he sure was proving me wrong everyday with his gestures.

I sighed, knowing that it was in fact true.

I grinned as he kissed me goodbye and delved inti my food.
I was downstairs an hour later, freshly showered and slightly better.
Lisa was making something in the kitchen when I walked in and she bowed down immediately she caught a glimpse of me.

could find for a baby, I got. I even got him a dresses and three baths. It was a little over the top but I wanted my little nephew to have the best of everything.
Alexander came into the dinner area,. Whistling. He seemed to be in a good mood.
He stopped when he saw the mountain of baby things that covered the tables and the floor.
“Baby?” he asked as his eyes swept the room covered with baby
accessories.

“Are those for the orphanage?” he asked, pointing at the baby accessories.
