“Forgive me, Zora. I didn’t wish to make you wide awake,” Darius told me apologetically as he closed his computer, causing me to smile at him.
“How did they accept your terms?” I asked him about the recording instead, prompting my mate to groan out of frustration.
“Hardy didn’t handle it very well. However, we already made up our minds that we would catch everyone at the same time two days from now. In the meantime, both Hardy and Casey will stay in our estate,” my soon- to–be husband replied.
Frankly, I felt uncomfortable at what he told me. Still, I didn’t utter any negative response in order to make him worry less. “Are you alright, Zora?” Darius asked me, causing me to nod my head as
an answer.
“When will you interrogate Lori?” the man asked me again, which made me realize that I totally forgot about Casey’s fated mate.
“I’ve moved it all for tomorrow,” I replied, making the Dark Lord sigh.
“What’s wrong?” I asked him in return.
“We’re supposed to plan our wedding for the blue moon, Zora. Yet, look at all this mess,” he said frustratedly, prompting me to hug his arms tightly.

“Don’t feel burdened, sweetheart. I’m actually having fun about this,” I tried to reassure my lover as he softly caressed my hair.
“Both Marcel and Raphael thought that Jenny’s son was the one behind the king,” Darius told me as I stared at him.
“All of us really thought that it was David. We had discovered where he was living by now, but we noticed that he was also on their list. It only came down to Jenny’s son,” he continued, causing me to ask him to explain more.

After all, this person or people are chasing after this whole overthrowing me thing as if it’s their right. In fact, calling themselves as a king is a rather radical move. If they were only commoners, they would have been happy by being put in the ruling council. Still, they even went further to overthrow the current council to put a new council while they put themselves on the throne as the king really talks about something. Zora. The messiest part about all of this is how those people blindly followed the person or people behind the king. It feels as if those people are dumb, Zora. I’m really anxious about it. We must hunt down whoever is behind the king thing. Whoever Jenny’s son is, he’s still roaming outside. I guess he’s the one behind all of this mess. I don’t think of him as an older person. How the culprit acted like elderly might be just a calculated move to make us lose their tracks. Instead, they are geniuses. We shouldn’t give them too much time to recover after we’ve had everyone seized,” Darius told me of what he was thinking with a firm determination.
It made me realize that Darius was indeed right. However, I wasn’t happy to dismiss the fact that this whole rebellion thing might be caused by terrible things that happened during Collier’s reign. In fact, I really despise the current breakfast time. Since I realized that both Casey and Hardy were in the same estate as I was, it made me anxious. How would I meet with both of them? While I didn’t actually owe Hardy something that made him the least of my problems, Casey was totally a different case.

“I notice that you’ve been steering away from both Casey and Hardy,” the Dark Lord then spoke again, which made me realize that I was already caught.

“Zora, that’s not your fault. What happened in the past wasn’t because of your mistake. In fact, you already stayed loyal and faithful to Casey. You truly cherished and assisted the man. While you kept your own words, he broke his words. Casey was the one who caused the problem, so he lost you. He was supposed to publicly reject Lori. None of this would happen then.
