When Eloise returned to her office, Julian called and wanted to invite her to dinner.
Eloise had already checked the game controller, and there was no problem. Julian came to her, which would save her a trip.
“Find a restaurant near Girado Group. I’ll go there directly after work,” Eloise said.
“Girado Group? Do you work with Adam?” Julian knew that Adam was in the advertising department of Girado Group.
“Well. We have cooperation with Girado Group.”

Julian didn’t go to the restaurant but came directly to Eloise’s office.

Callan’s gaze was so fiery that Eloise lowered her head. There was nowhere to hide. Her heart was pounding.
Finally, the elevator reached the ground floor, and everyone scattered away hastily.
Julian exchanged pleasantries with Callan and was about to leave the hall.
At this moment, a tall figure flashed into the hall. He took out a bottle of something, splashed it towards Callan, and shouted, “Callan, you are a murderer. You killed your girlfriend. Moreover, you killed my brother, my parents, and my sister.”

Eloise sensed the hostility in the approaching person. Without hesitation, she instinctively tried to intercept him. Little did she know that the tall man held a blade in his hand. In the panic, he accidentally cut Eloise’s neck, slicing through her artery. Instantly, blood gushed out.
“Eloise!” Julian shouted.
Frowning tightly, Callan carried Eloise in his arms and then ordered Julian, “Drive to the nearest hospital.”
“Okay, okay.” Julian was already scared to death.
The guards had the tall man under control. It was a very young man, very good–looking, in his early twenties. When he saw that he had hurt someone, he quieted down. He glanced at the wounded woman lying in Callan’s arms. With an apologetic face, he said in surprise, “Eloise??”
Before Eloise closed her eyes, she saw him, and she also felt that the man looked familiar.
The tall man was taken away by security guards.
Beatrice was left with lingering fears after witnessing the frightening scene in front of her.

Callan glanced at him and then calmly said to the nurse, “My blood type is O. Draw my blood.”
“Come with me,” the nurse said to Callan.
Soon, a pint of blood drawn from Callan’s body was transfused into Eloise’s body. The nurses bandaged Eloise’s wound. Her injury was no longer serious.
Callan and Julian were always by Eloise’s bedside.
Julian held Eloise’s hand tightly, muttering, “Eloise, you are very lucky. You must not die. Eloise, what should I do if you die? Eloise…”

Callan looked at her. “You are injured. Why did you ask about me? Isn’t it self–evident that I am fine?”
Eloise smiled palely.
