Brandon said, “I know you won’t come willingly. I have something you want. Bella, I have your grandpa’s address book. Haven’t you been trying to find out what happened back then these years? Don’t you want it?”
He knew Isabelle well enough to know what was important to her.
George had told her her mom and grandpa had died in a horrible accident.
She was too young back then and went to junior high abroad. When she came home, she was told that her mom and grandpa had died. It was sudden. After they died, everything about them disappeared as if a magical hand had erased their existence.
Isabelle wasn’t suspicious before. She just wanted to know how it happened. Back then, she was dating Brandon. She asked him to seek her grandpa’s domestic workers and clues. Perhaps it was he who had found the address book.
When she became the target of the Spencer family, she began suspecting that they had something to do with the death of her mom and her grandpa!
She went to the Spencer’s house for the address book on the day of the funerals, but the things of her mom and her grandpa were all gone.
Through the address book, she could know who her grandpa had contacted before she died. It was the only clue.

He smiled triumphantly, “Bella, what’s your decision?”
“Where’s the address book?”
“I’ll give it to you if you meet with me and accept my terms.”
Isabelle squinted and said, “How do I know it’s real? Send me a video of it. Then, we can talk about the rest.”
Brandon agreed. Two minutes later, he sent the video.
In the video, besides the title page of the address book, Isabelle also saw the background of the video and a desk. She recognized the place where the video was made. It was the one–bedroom apartment Brandon
lived in.
Having gotten the information she wanted, she didn’t hang up
immediately. Squinting, Brandon said, “See me in a private room of Crystal Bar tomorrow night. I’ll give it to you.”
Isabelle agreed, “OK.”
“See you then!” Brandon was glad about the result.
As soon as she hung up, Isabelle called Glenda at once. “Glenda, was the stall long enough?
“Have you confirmed his location?”
Yes, before she called Brandon, Isabelle asked Glenda to locate him through the phone call.
“The asshole called you in his place!”
Isabelle nodded. “It means the video is fresh, and the address book is still in his place.”

Isabelle lied to Tara, saying she’d come back before eight.
Warren sent a message to her on Line. “What are you doing? How dare you ignore my message?”
Isabelle thought about it. He had told her to call him if anything happened. She hesitated. But in the end, with knitted brows, she locked the screen.
She went to see Brandon with a cold expression.
To make her plan go smoothly, she needed to lure him out.
In a private room of Crystal Bar, Brandon stood before Isabelle and stared at her with an unfathomable look in his eyes.

Isabelle was cautious, leaning against the door. She smelled the stench of alcohol on him and asked coldly, “What do you want to say?”
Brandon looked at her slender figure in plain clothes. With gorgeous features and a noble bearing, she was always stunning. Despite her slim and enchanting figure, she never catered to poor taste. Now and then, she was as cute as a little girl.

Disappointed and nervous, Isabelle clenched her fist and sneered, “You could kill me but can’t stand me carrying another man’s baby. Your pride is wounded, isn’t it? But what did you do back then?
“You used me to build your company and cheated on me with Tonya. Thinking the Spencer family would abandon me, you dumped me without hesitation. It was because the Spencer family could help you become the heir to the Hodge family, and I was outnumbered, right?”
Brandon was embarrassed. His masquerade was shattered. He grabbed her by the shoulder and said, “It’s not like that. I’ve always loved you!”

His tone and the expression on his face scared her. She froze and stared at him. She had never expected him to become like this.
A chill seized her. Fear was plain in her eyes. “Brandon, what do you want?”
“Leave him. Be with me. I don’t want you to trade your body for leverage. You belong with me.” Drunk, he fixed his eyes on her.
Isabelle sneered, “You want me to be your mistress? Brandon, you’re shameless and crazy!”
Just then, her phone vibrated. She looked at the screen secretly and regained composure. She said indifferently, “Forget it. I don’t want the address book anymore. I have to go.”

With feigned calm, she tried to open the door.
But Brandon shut it with a loud bang!
Shocked, Isabelle said coldly, “Brandon, I turned you down.”

“Bella, I know you’re stalling. My men have caught the thief you sent to my home!”
Isabelle paused and looked back.
She had told Glenda to hire an experienced thief to steal the address book when she met with Brandon.
But Brandon had expected it. His men had caught the thief!
“I got the address book back. Now, the deal is off. You can’t leave tonight.”
He carried her onto the sofa and tied her up.
“What are you doing?” The color drained from Isabelle’s face. But for the sake of the baby, she couldn’t struggle too much. Brandon pushed her down.
With fiery eyes, he bent over to rip her clothes. “You made me. I’ll have you tonight.”
“You’ve lost your mind.” Isabelle secretly reached for her toolkit. But Brandon caught her hand and sneered, “I know you too well. Don’t play tricks.”
“Brandon, let me go!”
