On the wedding eve, she and her step–sister were both kidnapped, yet her fiancé only rescued her step–sister…
A kidnapper threw himself over, smirking, and then ripped her top.
Poor Isabelle Spencer! Yet she still had faith in her fiancé, waiting for him to rescue her. “Please stop! Please! Just be more patient! Brandon will bring you the ransom…”
The kidnapper sneered and then made a call. “Hey, Tonya, your step- sister is definitely not the bright kind!”
Isabelle was dazed at what she heard.
Then Tonya Spencer’s voice came through the phone. “You don’t really think that Brandon will come and save you, do you? To level with you. I’m pregnant with his child!”
Isabelle’s face turned pale. “When did it start?”
“Brandon has always been in love with me, not you. He was only making use of you so that you could help him establish a company. Now that he has become the CEO, why should he be with you any longer? What do you think got you kidnapped?”
Isabelle found her limbs cold and numb. She kept shaking her head, not convinced of what she had heard. “I don’t believe what you said. Put Brandon on the phone!”
“He’s in my bed now. He can’t hold himself even when I’m pregnant.”
Brandon Hodge’s voice came through the phone, cold and heartless.

Isabelle couldn’t believe what she had heard from Brandon.
They had been with each other for eight years! Yet, in the end, their romantic relationship was nothing but a hustle. He exploited her to gain benefits and now that he had achieved his goal, he wanted to end her life.
Tears fell along Isabelle’s face.
Tonya chortled sarcastically. “Brandon is so kind that he prefers to leave your body intact, but I do not like that. Guys, have as much fun as you wish with her and then feed her body to the wolves!”
“Tonya, I treated you well. Why are you doing this to me? Mom and Dad won’t let you get away with it!”
“Do you think Mom and Dad love you?” Tonya said mockingly.
Isabelle was dazed, not sure what Tonya meant by that. Yet before she could react, the kidnappers dragged her into the mountain.
They hovered over Isabelle, laughing scornfully. Isabelle was so scared that she couldn’t stop trembling. It was unfair!
Isabelle didn’t want to die like this. Brandon and Tonya couldn’t just get away with what they had done to her!
They couldn’t!
Suddenly, Isabelle saw a car parked at the foot of the mountain, with its door open. How strange!
There was a man sitting in the back seat. Isabelle could only see a vague profile, but she could still tell that the man was trying hard to suppress something.

Isabelle exhausted herself to get rid of the kidnappers and fell off the mountain, dashing toward the car. She begged the man for protection. “Sir, please, could you please let me get into your car?”
“Get off.”
The man gasped heavily with his eyes half–open.
The kidnappers were about to catch up with her!
“Someone is going after me! They try to kill me! Please, sir, help me! Please!” Isabelle held the man’s thigh and crawled into the car. She then closed the door behind her.
She kept rubbing the man’s trousers with her trembling body without even noticing it.
All of a sudden, the man opened his dead black eyes and swallowed. “Are you sure you don’t want to get out?”
“I can’t!” Isabelle panicked and shook her head hard, begging.
“Well then. Since you are sent over by whoever it is,” the man was sneering, “I’ll take you in.”
With that, his lean body hovered over Isabelle…
Isabelle was dumbfounded. Pain immersed her before she could struggle.
With her eyes widened, Isabelle cried hard, yet she just couldn’t get push the man away.
Gradually, she fell into a coma.
After some time, Isabelle finally woke up…

The man was not yet awake. So was the sky.
Isabelle grabbed her clothes and fled in a rush.
She was lucky to survive the night, yet unfortunate to lose her virginity to an unknown man.
Isabelle wiped her tears. She dared not stay any longer or glance at the
man.
Ten days later.
Isabelle finally made her way back home to Donsborough.
She was penniless when she fled, so she had a hard time on her way home. She barely survived.
Isabelle clenched her fists. In the past ten days, she didn’t see a single piece of news stating that her father was looking for her.
Tonya said that Dad didn’t love Isabelle. Isabelle then recalled how she was treated unfairly since she was little… She bit her lips hard.
Against all the odds, Isabelle returned home to question her father. She needed the truth.
Standing at the back door of the Spencer’s house, Isabelle could hear people quarrel in the living room before she made her way in
“She’s dead yet her body has not yet been found. How can I not be worried?” Julia Fitzgerald, Isabelle’s step–mother, sounded anxious.
Tonya said in a gloomy tone, “Dad, don’t worry. We can find a witch to punish her soul so that she won’t bother us.”

“That sounds cruel,” said George Spencer, Isabelle’s father.
Isabelle fell to the ground, trembling. She had pictured how worried her father was and how panicking Tonya and Julia would be. Yet the reality was quite the opposite.
She was dazed to find out that her family was even thinking about cursing her after she had died.
“Cruel? Oh, George, you can never be too cruel to Isabelle. She’s not your family anyway.
“Besides, don’t you forget what we did to her mother! What if she lived to find out about our secret…”
“Stop it! If she’s still alive, I will kill her right here.” George’s voice sounded merciless. It was hard to believe that he was referring to his own daughter.
“Smear her reputation so that Tonya and Brandon can take over her company with good reasons. What her grandpa has left for her will belong to us. As for her uncle, we’ll take care of him sooner or later…”
It seemed that the real devils didn’t live in hell.
Isabelle bit her lips hard so that she could suppress the urge to dash in.
She was overwhelmed by fear and anger. Her mother’s death was plotted. What was worse, it seemed that her family background was more complicated than she had expected.

When Isabelle woke up, she found herself getting an infusion. The doctor took her test result and walked over. “Miss, the test result shows that you’re pregnant.”

“I said you are pregnant, for less than two weeks. Has your boyfriend come with you?”
