An hour later, Radley’s car arrived at the Hood Group.
The receptionist on the ground floor promptly dialed the president’s office on the top floor, and Matthew’s assistant personally descended to welcome him.
“Mr. Monaghan, our president, Mr. Hood, is currently out of the office as he’s on a business trip.”
Radley’s face remained impassive, and his aura intimidated. “Which city did he до to?”
Matthew’s assistant hesitated momentarily as he had only mentioned that he was visiting a branch office. before Mr. Hood left, but he didn’t specify which one.

Radley ignored him and made his way toward the elevator.
The assistant hurriedly followed. “Mr. Monaghan, where are you going? You can’t go up there, as no one can go to the top floor without Mr. Hood’s permission!”
Connor, beside Radley, had swiftly incapacitated the assistant and left him by the elevator.
The elevator ascended straight to the top floor.
Radley headed directly toward Matthew’s office upon exiting the elevator.
The door to the president’s secretary’s office of the Hood Groups had swung open, and several secretaries. looked on in terror. Those who tried to stop him were all blocked by Connor.
Radley found it locked when they arrived at Matthew’s office door.
He stepped back, lifted his foot, and the office door was kicked open with a resounding bang.
Radley walked straight in and still had unfinished documeon Matthew’s desk.

Matthew had left hurriedly, so he must have received some news and left before finishing his paperwork.
Radley walked over to Matthew’s desk and flipped through a few files but didn’t find the clue he was looking for. His brows furrowed, and his gaze fell on the surveillance camera in the corner of the office.
He sat down in the office chair and opened the laptop beside him.
Matthew’s laptop was password-protected.
Radley cracked the password and successfully accessed the computer in just a few minutes. Matthew’s computer was connected to the company’s surveillance system as he expected.

There were constant sounds of commotion and shouting from the corridor outside.
He ignored them and quickly pulled up the computer’s surveillance footage, thus returning to the day
Matthew left.
However, the surveillance footage from that day had been deleted.
A strange feeling washed over Radley, and he was almost confident that Matthew must have received new: about Freya.
He leaned back in his office chair and raised his hand to pinch the bridge of his nose.
After a few minutes, he got up and left the office.
Outside the corridor, the security guards and several secretaries stood not far away, trembling and confronting Connor.
A few of the security guards had bruises on their faces. They pointed at Connor and said with courage, “Don’t leave. The police will be here soon, and it’s illegal for you to break into our president’s office!”
Radley’s cold gaze swept over them. “Just let the police come and talk to me. Please move now
His domineering gaze was filled with violent anger, and the security guards’ legs stiffened at his glance.
Connor immediately stepped forward. “Mr. Monaghan! Where are we going now?”
Radley strode toward the elevator.
Since Matthew had received the news, someone must have delivered the message to him!
“Please find that assistant from earlier!”
The assistant must be someone close to Matthew as he was the first to stop him and help Matthew to lie.
Radley’s face was cold. “He might know something.”
When the two of them reached the ground floor, and the elevator doors opened, the area outside was utterly empty.
Connor frowned. “He ran away!”
Radley gritted his teeth. “Find him!”
Matthew’s intentions couldn’t be more explicit when he received news about Freya but did not inform them.
Radley left the Hood Group with a gloomy face.

Without hesitation, he climbed over the wall into the yard.
The smart lock at the door still had his fingerprints and iris. After entering the house, he made a round inside.
