After leaving the hospital, Freya drove back to the Kaufmann Residence.

“Isabella and I were having such a good time yesterday, and we had a bit of wine during dinner. I completely forgot to call.”
“You drank again?!” Sylvia glared.
Freya hurriedly made her escape upstairs. “Mom, I’m an adult now. What’s wrong with having a little wine?”
Seeing Freya flee as if she had done something wrong, Sylvia finally let go of her doubts.
It seemed that Freya did stay at Isabella’s place last night.

Freya nodded and casually took the flowers from Matthew’s hand.
“Matthew, who comes to visit a patient and brings red roses? If people don’t know any better, they’d think you’re here to confess your feelings to my brother.”
As Freya spoke, she inserted the flowers into the vase on the bedside table.
Matthew raised an eyebrow. “I think red roses look the best.”
The three of them chatted for a while, and Isabella arrived with the breakfast she had brought, which she cooked.
Freya and Matthew watched as Isabella displayed the demeanor of a virtuous wife, serving the soup, feeding Braxton, and even wiping the corners of his mouth with a tissue.
“Wow, love is truly frightening,” Matthew commented. “It’s like Isabella has become a different person.”
Isabella, with sharp hearing, overheard Matthew’s comment and narrowed her eyes as she turned to him. “Matthew, are you looking for trouble?”
Matthew burst into laughter. “It seems like you haven’t changed at all. That’s reassuring.”
“Who cares if you’re reassured?” Braxton threw a pillow at him.
Freya watched the three of them joking and stood up, saying, “Brax, since you have someone here to accompany you, I’ll see Dr. Griffiths to check on your recent test results.”
“Okay.”
After leaving the recuperation building, Freya walked toward the administrative building.
The administrative building of Caltun General Hospital was far from the recuperation building, and Ethan’s office was on the top floor.
Freya went to check Braxton’s recent test results. All the values were within the normal range. The one-in- a-million risk had not materialized.
In the office, Ethan wore a pleased expression. “Everything looks fine. In three days, your brother can be discharged.”
Freya also felt relieved. “That’s great. Thank you again, Dr. Grilliths.”
Ethan waved his hand and put the documents back in the drawer, smiling. “I should be the one thanking you, Professor Harlan. I never expected that the first surgery of this disease in Caltun would be one that I

For doctors, there was nothing more fulfilling than this.
Freya chatted with Ethan for a while with a smile before leaving the administrative building. The building was close to the main entrance of the hospital.
When she reached the ground floor, she noticed a crowd of people gathered at the hospital’s entrance.

As she got closer, she realized that several vans parked at the hospital gate belonged to the media.
Among the crowd were both reporters and camera crews.
