Chapter 248 Don’t Go, Please?
The next morning, Freya got up early.
While Sylvia and Braxton were still asleep, she quietly left the house.
She proceeded to drive to the West Geft Joint Department.
When she arrived at the Joint Department at 8:30 am, she parked her car and found that Radley’s car was already parked in front of the door.
Seeing him arrive even earlier than she made Freya’s heart skip a beat.
After entering the Joint Department, she passed by Brandon’s office.
She could see that there was no one in the office from the glass door.
Freya continued to walk to Radley’s office before she came to a stop.
She lightly knocked on the door, waiting for a response from inside.
Two seconds later, the door was forcefully pulled open.
Radley’s figure appeared behind the door.
“Radley.” Freya had just called out his name when she was pulled into the room.
“Frey,” Radley whispered her name in a low voice. “Don’t go, please?”
“I’m just going to prepare for the delivery. It’s not like I’m never coming back.”
Freya’s heart thumped as she was held tightly by Radley.
With her chin on Radley’s shoulder, she reached out and patted his back.
“You’ll be gone for more than two months. I don’t know how I’m going to get through that.” Radley suddenly smiled bitterly.
Freya’s gaze flickered. “You were fine when I wasn’t with you before, right?”
Radley’s handsome face showed a hint of embarrassment, and he stared at Freya thoughtfully.
“But it’s different now.” He sighed softly.
“Can I secretly go to Vroria to see you?”
“No. My mother will be coming with me.”
There was silence between the two of them. For the whole morning. Radley held onto Freya without letting go.
With an aching heart, Freya could only chuckle helplessly.
Since they confirmed their relationship, she could feel how much Radley cared about her.

But every time, she held back at the last moment.
It wasn’t until 10:30 a.m. that Freya’s phone rang.
She took out her phone and glanced at it. It was a call from her mother.
Freya turned to look at Radley. “Don’t make a sound.”
She was as careful as a thief.
The man kept looking at her with a profound gaze.
She had cautiously answered the phone now.
“Mom… Mhm… I’m at the Joint Department in West Geft.”
Sylvia’s angry voice came through from the other end of the phone.
“Freya Kaufmann, I told you before not to wander around with that big belly of yours. You don’t listen to me at all, do you?!”
Eréya smiled helplessly.
“Mom, we’re going to Vroria tomorrow. I have to make arrangements for the work in West Geft.”
“Alright, have you finished the handover? Come back as soon as you’re done.”
Freya looked at Radley beside her, his deep eyes staring at her intently.
As her heart softened, she reluctantly spoke into the phone. “Not yet. There’s a meeting at noon. I’ll come home after the meeting”
“Come back earlier. There are still many of your things that haven’t been packed at home. If you’re not at home, I don’t know what you plan to bring.” Sylvia instructed.
Freya responded, “Got it, Mom.”
Just as she was about to hang up, Freya looked up and found that Radley had already walked up to her without her noticing.
Freya’s heart skipped a beat, and she began to stutter.
“What are you doing?” Sylvia on the other end of the phone sounded suspicious.
“Who are you talking to?”
Upon realization, Freya immediately responded. I’m just handling some work matters.”
“Come back quickly after you are done. Your brother can also deal with the matters in West Geft…”
Sylvia continued to nag.
While Freya listened to the nagging on the other end of the phone, her gaze was fixed on Radley in front

Radley had already cornered her against the wall without her realizing it. As she talked, she felt her back. against the cold wall.
She glared at Radley and silently mouthed the words. “Stop messing around!”
Even though Sylvia’s voice kept ringing out, Freya couldn’t hear a single word she was saying.
“Did you even consider how far along you are? In another-”
Mid-sentence, Freya abruptly hung up the phone when she felt her heart skip a beat.
As it was quiet in the office, Sylvia’s voice on the phone could still be faintly heard although Freya didn’t. have her phone on loudspeaker.
Radley almost heard it!
Freya’s heart thumped.
“Why did you hang up?” Radley was now very close to Freya.
He slightly bent down, his face close to hers.
His voice was low and hoarse.
“I used to think that I had good self-control, but ever since you agreed to be with me, I feel like I’m thinking about you every moment.” His gaze was filled with a thick seduction.
Freya felt her heart beat faster.
“You are leaving at noon. We don’t even know when we will meet again,” Radley said as his gaze lowered, his eyes fixating on Freya’s lips. Her rosy and plump lips were just inches away from him.
As their breaths intertwined, Freya took a deep breath!
Radley was already quite seductive in appearance, and now he seemed to deliberately exude a tempting aura as he got closer to her. Her hands by her side clenched tightly.
Indeed, she probably missed him too after not seeing each other for two months.
Freya squeezed her fists, forcing herself to be bolder.
She then grabbed onto Radley’s arms, which were propped on her sides.
Her body slightly leaned forward….
The sudden warmth that enveloped Radley caused his entire body to tense up.

Freya left a shallow kiss and immediately intended to pull away.
Radley’s gaze was deep and mysterious. He reached out, his arm encircling Freya’s waist as he reclaimed the initiative. He leaned down and passionately kissed her.

Radley’s kiss carried a strong sense of dominance as if enveloping Freya in his protective embrace.
After a few minutes, Radley finally released her.
Freya quickly took in a breath of fresh air before giving him a playful glare.
“Consider it a reward before you leave,” Radley commented with a low chuckle.
There wasn’t a meeting scheduled for noon. Freya had lied to her mother to spend more time with Radley, but now she was starting to regret it.
“Since you’re leaving for so long, have you arranged everything that needs to be arranged? Is there anything I can help you with?” Radley asked at the lunch table.
Freya shook her head.
She had already made arrangements for both the research lab and the work in West Geft. She had already informed Brandon and Edward through text.
If there was someone who didn’t know yet, it would be Matthew. However, Braxton would probably let
him know.
