Chapter 217 He Actually Understood Her
With Brandon’s consent, Freya wasted no time and immediately tidied up the drawings on the table.
“Let’s go, Master.”
With that, Brandon walked out with his hands behind his back.
Just as they took a few steps, he turned his head and looked at Radley who was sitting next to him.
“Radley, why don’t you come too? Mrs Lane said she wanted you to taste the dessert she made.”
Freya was taken aback, but before she could respond, Radley had already risen from his seat, indicating he would accompany them.
She pursed her lips. “I saw Connor leave just now. Don’t you have something else to do?”
“No, he only left early from work.” Radley replied calmly.
Brisa, who was standing nearby, looked at him suspiciously and then cast a glance at Freya before chuckling.
Afterward, the four of them departed toward Radley’s suburban villa in Freya’s car.
Brisa drove while Brandon sat in the front passenger seat.
The villa was far from the city, requiring nearly an hour to reach.
On the other hand. Freya and Radley sat in the back seat, both unusually silent.
Brandon glanced at the two of them through the rearview mirror and asked, “Radley, the hot springs in that area are really good. Have you tried them yourself?”
Radley replied coldly, “After purchasing the villa, I took a look, but I haven’t tried them.”
“Why not give it a try today? I’ll have your aunt prepare some wine, and we can have a good chat.” Brandon smiled.

Supported by Trisha, Freya placed her hands on her wrist while acting spoiled as they walked towards the house. “Alright, Mrs. Lane.”
Trisha let out a soft chuckle at her actions. Then, she glanced at Brandon who was on the side, and admitted. “I’m still not used to being addressed this way
Following, the four of them entered the house. Trisha invited them to sit down, and Brisa didn’t stand on ceremony either, taking a seat on a nearby chair.
Meanwhile, Freya took the opportunity to hold Trisha’s hand and talk, telling her about the gradually evident pulse in her abdomen. “Miss Trujillo, would you like to go out for a walk?”

She didn’t expect Radley to join the conversation, so she looked at him with some surprise, then quickly followed the servant out as the attraction of the wild rabbits was greater.
Brandon smiled. “Dinner should still be some time away. Are you tired, Trisha? Let me accompany`you back to rest for a while.”
“Frey is here today, so I feel more energetic than usual, she replied with a smile as well.
Regardless, Brandon had already walked up to her and held her arm. She glanced at him in surprise, thinking that there was no need for such gestures after years of their marriage. But, when she saw Brandon’s subtle wink, she turned to look at Freya and instantly understood what was going on.

It was also a good opportunity to look for Brisa, so as not to be in an awkward situation with Radley as a man and a woman.
Stepping outside the door, they found themselves in a villa nestled amidst mountains and water. A paved mountain road lay behind them, thankfully not too challenging to navigate.

Freya said, “This is the most suitable solution. Wilson and his wife have no intention of coming to Caltun, not to mention this place will be a painful memory for them in the short term.”
But going to a foreign country… Freya touched her belly.
