Freya had just finished showcasing a makeup look and was slowly removing it with makeup remover. Suddenly, the screen flashed with silver lights, and Freya initially thought the webpage had a problem. After a closer look, she realized that those were one sports car after another.

Freya was astonished. Even though the Kaufmanns were wealthy, and she had received one billion of pocket money from Uncle Marshall when she returned from Vroria the last time, she would still hesitate to give away such expensive gifts on the live-streaming platform.

Freya greeted her viewers and friends.
“I’m sorry, everyone. I might only update once a week from now on.”
As she spoke, she gently caressed her belly.

Freya’s heart warmed up.

She was about to end the live stream when the number-one supporter, “MonDa, entered the live stream with a system prompt.
Freya glanced at it. In the past, she had not thought much about it.

All the earnings from this live-streaming session were meant to be donated to charity. At first, she thought MonDa was just a stranger who wanted to contribute to the cause.
But now, as Freya looked at that username “MonDa,” she fell silent.

Since MonDa started watching her live streams, Freya had never seen him initiate a conversation.
Hello, everyone, MonDa replied in the chat box.
The chat room erupted with excitement, and Freya chuckled.
Oh well, there were probably many people named MonDa. It might not be the person that I thought.
After ending the live stream, Freya slumped onto the table.
She felt lazy, as if all energy had been drained from her.
Edward was packing up the equipment, and a tinge of concern flashed in his clear eyes when he saw Freya’s condition.
“Frea, I’m done setting things up. You should rest early. Don’t lie here; you might catch a cold,” Edward said softly, walking over to Freya.
Propping her chin on her hands. “I don’t know what’s been happening, but I’ve been feeling tired lately. Maybe it’s because of fall fatigue. Freya replied.
Edward smiled. “If Frea says so, then it must be.”
Getting up, Freya said, “Let me take you back to Evergreen University.”
Knowing that Freya was not feeling well, Edward hurriedly declined. “No need, Frea. I can take the subway back!”
Freya wanted to accompany him, but Edward insisted on taking the subway himself, and she didn’t force him any further.
Two days later.
Caltun General Hospital.
Braxton and Sylvia accompanied Freya for a prenatal checkup.
After a series of tests at Caltun General Hospital, it was confirmed that Freya was in good health, and the two of them finally felt relieved.
Ethan personally accompanied the three of them and smiled. “Don’t worry, Sylvia. It’s normal for Miss Kaufmann to feel sleepy. With the pregnancy progressing, she might experience fatigue occasionally, but there’s no need to worry. Just get plenty of rest.”
Sylvia nodded in agreement.
They walked to the car, and Sylvia helped Freya get in.

Immediately, Freya behaved obediently.
Sylvia and Freya sat in the back seat. Ayden, who was driving, turned to look at Freya and asked concernedly, “How are you doing, miss?”
Freya smiled. “Ayden, why are you getting worried too?”
“Ayden cares about you, you heartless girl!” Sylvia laughed, feeling much more relaxed now that she knew Freya’s excessive sleepiness was a normal reaction to the pregnancy.
Sylvia turned to look out the car window. “Where did your brother go?”
Freya looked outside and saw Braxton walking away with Ethan in the distance.
She knew what her brother was up to. He would probably consult Ethan about those treatment plans.
From afar, she could see Braxton and Ethan engaged in a conversation.
They even handed a piece of paper for Ethan to look at.
After about ten minutes, Braxton finally turned around and walked back.
Freya discreetly glanced at her brother, who seemed to be suppressing his excitement, and his face slightly flushed.
Braxton got into the car, and Sylvia asked from the back seat, “Where were you just now?”
“I showed Dr. Griffiths some of Freya’s test results for today.” Braxton’s voice was somewhat hoarse.
Hearing her brother’s voice, Freya felt a pang of guilt. She had deceived Braxton, but she did not know whether it was right or wrong.
Now that she had deceived Braxton, the next step was to come clean with Isabella.
Although current technology did not offer a cure for Braxton’s condition, Freya believed she could find at solution!
The car drove back to the Kaufmanns’ residence.
Everyone was in a good mood, knowing that Freya’s condition was normal.
Sylvia also asked Ayden to stay and have lunch before leaving.
In the kitchen, preparations for lunch were underway while Ayden kept Sylvia company, engaging her in
conversation.
Freya glanced quietly toward the second floor. Since they returned, her brother had locked himself in the study.
Freya thought momentarily and realized that Braxton probably did not want to be disturbed right now. She caressed her belly. Before giving birth to their baby, she needed to discuss this matter with Isabella. At lunchtime, Braxton came downstairs, and the whole family had lunch together.
After lunch, Sylvia, Braxton, and Ayden sat in the living room chatting.
Freya smiled warmly and said, “Mom, my prenatal checkup today was all normal—”
Braxton sneered to the side. “Look at your fawning look. Are you planning to run off again?”
“I’m planning to visit Isabella!” Freya said.
Braxton immediately fell silent.
Sylvia frowned, not knowing what was going on between the younger generation.
“Isabella hasn’t visited our home recently. Has anything happened to her?” she asked.
Freya smiled and replied, “I don’t think so. She’s probably gotten into trouble again. Perhaps she broke something of Old Mr. Parker’s and was grounded at home. I need to go rescue her.”
Sylvia nodded. “Be careful on your way.”
Ayden stood up from the side. “Let me accompany Freya.”
Freya declined Ayden’s offer, got into her car, and headed to the Parker Residence.
On the way, she received a call from Radley.
His voice was deep and pleasant. “Freya, Wilson has agreed to our conditions.”
Freya was surprised. “How did you manage to persuade him?”
A soft chuckle came from the other end of the phone.
“Do
you have time tomorrow? I’ll have someone from the company draft the cooperation contract for you
to review.”
