Chapter 89 Julia Will Take Off Her Clothes If She Drinks Too Much
Even on the other side of the line, Julia blushed when he called her by that name.
“Why did you suddenly call me by my name?” Julia raised her thin lips, and her voice showed a trace of tenderness.
“I like calling your name,” Jared simply answered.
Julia heard something inside her thumping. So she slowly raised her hand to cover her heart. Feeling every beating it did. The throbbing made her very addicted and uncomfortable. Before Julia could recover from this state, the man’s intoxicating voice, which sounded like a cello, echoed in her ears again.
“How about you? Can you call me Jared?” he asked.
Julia bit her lip, and her mind went blank for a moment. The only thing she could say was, “Oh, I forgot! I have something to do. I’ll hang up now. Bye!”
Julia hastily hung up the phone. Her breathing was short and disordered. Her chest heaved and fluctuated. When she touched her face, it felt hot. She kept cooling her face with the back of her hand.
Jared…
“It sounded disgusting,” she commented as his anime rolled on her tongue. Meanwhile, Jared looked at the phone briefly after Julia hung up.
“One day, I will let you call me by my first name,” he murmured as he put the phone down.
As the night went by, Julia headed to the bar as planned. Maddie, on the other hand, kept bombarding her with questions.
“Answer me honestly.” Maddie started. Julia looked at her, confused. So Maddie continued, “Don’t you have feelings for Carter?”
Julia’s head suddenly felt heavy hearing Maddie’s question. She rubbed her temples and said, “How many times do I need to say it for you to believe me?”
Maddie approached Julia with her eyes wide open, trying to see a trace of a lie on Julia’s face, but Julia’s eyes were even more expansive than hers.
“Not even a little bit?” Maddie asked one more time.
Julia shook her head in answer. Then Maddie shrugged her shoulders, feeling disappointed. “You genuinely didn’t lie to me?” She asked, still not dropping the topic.
Julia handed Maddie the wine glass. “Drink up.”
“My stomach feels sick. I’ll go to the bathroom first!” Maddie ran away anxiously, clutching her stomach before she finished speaking.
As soon as Maddie left, Cameron walked in with several other girls. She quickly noticed a familiar figure in the crowd.
“Isn’t that Julia?” she uttered.
“Why are you standing still?” One of the girls with her asked when Cameron stopped in her tracks.
Cameron looked at her companions and Julia and said, “Oh, I just have something to do for a moment. You go to the booth first and wait for me.”
After Cameron finished speaking, she immediately sent a message to Jordan.

“Julia is at the Rocket Pub. She is alone. You can grab the opportunity by yourself.”
Jordan was busy laughing and playing with a girl in daring clothes in one of the reserved chairs in Rocket Pub. His mood changed when he received the message and tossed the girl away.
“Young Master Jordan, why are you so rude?” The girl acted coquettishly at Jordan as usual. “Get out!” One word from Jordan with an overbearing tone was enough to scare someone. The girl looked at Jordan, whose face quickly changed from flirty to annoyed as she cursed. However, she didn’t dare show her face as she hurriedly got up from the ground and left the private room swiftly.
Jordan gazed at the photo sent by Cameron. It was an image of Julia sitting in front of the bar while drinking alone. The slightly intoxicated expression on the girl’s face in the picture made Jordan lick his lips with a smirk.
“This kind of woman with top quality is not comparable to the girls just now,” he commented. Imagining different playful scenarios in his head with Julia.
Is it just a coincidence that he just ran into her? If that’s the case, then he won’t be polite tonight. Jordan stood
up, straightened his clothes, combed his hair, and smiled handsomely at the mirror on the wall.
Henry saw Jordan’s reaction, and confusion clouded his face. He withdrew his gaze from Jordan, looked at Jared, sitting opposite him, and said, “Jared, I just saw the similarities in your Brooks family.”
Jared didn’t respond, completely ignoring what Henry had said. He picked up his wine glass and took a sip.
Henry curled his lips speechlessly, and just when he was about to stop his gaze, his eyes caught
someone’s shadow in the crowd.
“Isn’t that Julia?”
As soon as Henry said this, Jared stopped his movements immediately, turned his head to follow Henry’s gaze, and after shaking, he saw Julia sitting in front of the bar drinking alone.
The girl looked a little drunk. Julia’s face was obviously flushed, and her eyes seemed slightly blurred.
‘Why is she here?‘ Jared thought, staring at her.
Before Jared could do anything, he saw Jordan walking to Julia’s side. The bar was full of people and a little noisy, but he could clearly understand what Jordan was trying to do.
Jordan sat beside Julia naturally and said, “Why are you alone?”
Jared squinted his eyes, and a dangerous glint showed in his gaze. Just as he was going to stand Henry placed his hand on Jared’s to stop him.
“Jared, calm down,” Henry said.
“Calm down? It’s not your woman that Jordan was trying to flirt with. If it was, would you be calm?” Jared’s words were filled with coldness.
- up.
“I’ll let this tantrum slide this time because you’re my brother. But hey, hold up before you dash off to check out Jordan, alright? And can you not question if there’s some link between her and Jordan? Let’s observe and gather some information before jumping in,” Henry suggested. Upon hearing Henry’s words, Jared’s faring emotions calmed. So they looked at the two to see what

would happen next.
Julia half–supported his chin with one hand, looked sideways at Jordan, and asked, “Who are you?”
“I’m Jordan. I met you last time at a family gathering.” Jordan stared at Julia while talking. He gulped when Julia’s charming face and seductive figure made his throat dry.
Seeing the two stare at each other, but with no malice on Julia’s side, Henry felt a sudden surge of coldness around him. So he hugged his arms and rubbed them. He glanced at Jared, who was facing him and secretly clicked his tongue.
They both know that Jordan’s eyes always look at women as if they are naked. One day, Jordan would be in trouble.
“Jordan?” Julia frowned, “I don’t think I know you.”
Jordan waved his hand and said, “It doesn’t matter if you don’t know me. We will get to know each other later.” He continued to stare at Julia without hesitation.
“I don’t want to get to know you.” Julia was starting to have a headache, and her consciousness was slowly disintegrating.
Julia’s common sense whispered that she might be tipsy. But how did that happen? She wasn’t exactly a lightweight when it came to drinking. Could it be that her body wasn’t holding up well? She couldn’t help but wonder if she’d end up shedding clothes like she did when she had too many drinks.
No, she can’t take chances. What if she gets so drunk that she loses consciousness and removes her clothes indiscriminately? She has to leave quickly!
Thinking of this, Julia stood up, holding the bar countertop, dizzy and top–heavy.
“Where are you going?” Hearing that Julia was about to leave, Jordan hurriedly called to stop her.
Julia was about to lose consciousness and still had an instinct of danger approaching. So she said, “It has nothing to do with you. But please stay away from me.”
She thought Jordan came to talk to her while she was drunk, most likely because of evil intentions.
Jordan looked at Julia as if she was an easy prey.
“Today, you are destined to be mine and still want to run from me?” Jordan whispered as he followed Julia. He was about to pull her wrist when someone suddenly strode over and hugged Julia into his arms.
