The moment Julia raised her head and her eyes met Randel’s; she saw that he was appalled where he was. There was disbelief in his gaze.
“Is something wrong? Do you find the name ‘Honey‘ weird?”
Instead of answering, Randel continued staring at the woman intensely, but he returned to reality when he heard her sweet voice.
“Randel, look at this dog’s fur, it’s yellow. Let’s call her Honey, okay?”
‘Honey… exactly the same name…‘ He thought deep inside.
“Hello? Earth to Randel? What’s wrong with you? You know you don’t have to react this way when the name’s that bad, right?” Julia looked at the man suspiciously and asked.
“No, it’s not like that,” Randel uttered as he returned to his senses. He stared at Julia with a softer gaze this time. “The name Honey… I like it. It suits the dog.”
A smile broke out on Julia’s face when she heard that. “Aren’t I right? Of course, I named the dog after all.”
“How did you come up with this name?” Randel asked curiously.
“I liked honey very much as a child,” Julia replied honestly. She then turned to him to ask, “Did you also like it when you were a child?”
Because of her question, Randel glanced at her in surprise.
“You someone who likes honey too?” She asked again upon seeing the expression on his face.
And she was right: Randel was indeed reminded of someone because of their conversation. His mouth gaped slightly, and he swallowed the words in his throat.
“Just a friend.”
‘Juju?‘ Julia guessed it, but it was inappropriate to mention her.
After that, Julia kept stroking Honey’s head.
“Honey is so nice! Look, baby, I’ll be your fur mom from now on, okay?”
As if she understood, Honey stretched out her tongue and head and licked the back of Julia’s hand.
“Oh my god! It’s so ticklish!”
As someone watched them on the side, Randel lovingly stared at Julia and Honey with longing. Such a scene was familiar to his heart because back when he was a child, he used to see Juju pick up Honey, also a dog.
Not to mention that they had a lot of similarities. He thought that if Juju were still alive, she and Julia would be good friends! They would immediately click because of the same interest.
Thereon, just when Julia finished treating Randel, she returned Honey to the villa.
“Oh God, Julia! Why did you bring a dog back? Take her away! Take her away from me!” Shiloh exaggeratedly shoos her away. He was even blocking the door, preventing the woman from entering.
“What are you doing? Are you trying to annoy me again?” Julia asked guessingly.
“It’s not about me! You should think of my brother instead! Hurry up and get that away from here. Where the hell did this little one even come from?” Shiloh sighed and stared at the dog, wagging

“Your brother hates dogs?” Julia didn’t know this.
Speaking of the devil, Jared came out of his study room. His eyes immediately bore on Julia’s pretty face, and happiness boomed in his heart just like that.
He was already happy as it was, but not until he saw Honey in Julia’s arms. Suddenly, his expression changed.
Julia pushed Shiloh away and walked towards Jared with Honey in her arms.
“Jared, is it true? Do you hate dogs? Why? They are so cute. Look at her; I named her Honey. Doesn’t she look cute? Even her eyes seem like black beans!” Julia bombarded him with questions. It didn’t help that Julia grabbed the dog’s front paws while she was speaking and moved them cutely.
Jared raised his eyebrows and stepped back, keeping a distance from Julia. That was when the woman blinked rapidly.
‘He hates dogs this much?‘ She couldn’t believe it.
“But I want to keep her, and I promised it that I will be the best fur mom! She’s just a dog, but I already promised her a home. I can’t break her trust.”
Julia was worried that Jared would disagree, so she opened her big eyes and blinked at Jared, her long eyelashes fluttering lively.
Seeing Julia acting coquettish way was rare, so Jared was taken aback. Not to mention that she could only act that way whenever she was drunk. And it was already not good for his heart! Indeed, it was a rare sight, especially knowing that when she was sober, Jared had only seen the woman coquettishly act when Conrad was around.
Her voice was soft and cooing, and even her little expression was so cute. It was a pity that she was not always that way.
Without a doubt, her act made his heart jump out of his ribcage. How could he even say no to her when she was that cute? He could not refuse at all!
“Okay, keep her if you like.”
Julia was waiting for that response. Then, the corner of her lips rose, showing her happiness. “Thank you! Jared, you are the best!” Julia smiled happily.
At this time, Shiloh’s disbelieving voice suddenly sounded. “Brother! Are you crazy? You’re allergic to dog fur! Now, you want to keep that dog at home? I know you love spoiling Julia, but seriously? Up to this point?”
Shiloh’s words shocked Julia, so she instantly shifted to face Jared. “You’re allergic to them?” Suddenly, Julia remembered Jared’s reaction earlier when he saw her carrying Honey in her
arms.
-The truth was, he didn’t need to agree with her suggestion at all.
“Them, why did you agree on raising Honey here?” She muttered, still confused about his action. Deep inside, she felt bad as she looked at him in the eyes. Her lips were in a grim line.
Shiloh was right about what he said. There was no doubt that Jared loved spoiling her, but he didn’t have to go to that extent.
‘Jared… Why are you always so nice to me?‘ She asked deep inside.

Initially, she didn’t feel wrong about his attitude towards her. She loved how he doted on her because, at first, they had a fair deal.
That day was different. For someone like Julia, the more people were nicer to her, the heavier her guilt.
“It’s okay, as long as you like it.” Jared stretched out his hand to touch Julia’s head.
Julia took several steps back. “Can you take care of yourself too? Who knows what will happen if you’re continuously exposed to Honey’s fur? It might become serious. I don’t want your mother to find me, telling me I’m harming you. So for now, I’ll let a friend raise her instead.”
Julia thought about it. She and Randel discovered the Honey together. Currently, the one person the dog connected with was her and that man. In that case, she would let Randel help raise the dog.
‘I wish he’s willing to do it, though?‘
Before going to bed at night, Julia sent a message to Randel and told him about the incident. To Julia’s delight, Randel agreed as soon as she told him what had happened, and now she felt relieved.
She cooked Conrad’s favorite dish at noon on Wednesday and delivered it to her brother in
person.
Unexpectedly, as soon as she arrived at the premises of J&C Limited, she saw a familiar car parked before her.
Julia was not hurrying to get out, so she lowered the window to look instead.
Soon, she saw Philip and Yasmin, wearing masks, getting out of their vehicle.
“What are they doing here?” She asked herself as she continued watching the two.
And as if the universe conspired before her eyes, she heard Philip, unfortunately, her father, start speaking seriously to Yasmin.
“Although J&C Limited was only established this year, they had a miraculous healer backing them up, and its development is in full swing. If we can establish a long–term cooperative relationship with J&C Limited this time, it will greatly help our Watson Family.”
“Yes, I know! These days, I, including my other artist friends and colleagues, are almost all using the skin care products developed by J&C Limited. I have to say, they were effective! It works like magic, especially for one of my artist friends struggling with acne breakouts. Her skin became smooth and tender when she finally used their anti–acne products. “Julia?!” Yasmin stared at Julia with wide eyes. Even Philip didn’t expect to meet her here.
The corners of Julia’s mouth curled up in a sneer. “I advise you to carefully consider what you’re saying, Mr. Philip Watson. The city is so big, and there are a lot who are queuing just to seek investment. So reflect, okay? Your very own Watson Family is just a middle–class family. Why should J&C Limited choose to collaborate with you?”
