Chapter 123: Is Julia crying?
The bloggers that Cindy enlisted were all influential figures in the online world. With their popularity and combined efforts, the incident swiftly gained widespread attention on the internet. Once again, the narrative underwent a significant shift, and blame was now predominantly directed at Julia.
Many comments flooded in, condemning Julia as shameless for supposedly being financially supported by an older man and for allegedly physically assaulting her stepmother and stepsister. Her actions were described as nothing short of malicious.
Julia maintained her composure as she read through the onslaught of critical comments aimed at her. This was precisely the outcome she had been seeking for. The larger the uproar, the more potent the embarrassment Yasmin would experience.
“How about now, Boss? Can I go ahead and upload the video?” Alexander eagerly asked.
He found it difficult to witness Julia being subjected to such criticism. Frankly, he was tempted to use his main online account to retaliate.
Of course, this was just a thought. If Alexander actually did it, the consequences wouldn’t be as simple as they appear now. Things could escalate quickly and become hard to manage.
“Wait another half an hour. Let the situation escalate a bit further,” Julia responded with a calm demeanor.
“Okay.”
Meanwhile, Joseph entered the office, holding a file in his hand. “Boss, do you have a moment?”
However, Jared didn’t bother to lift his head as he replied, “I’m busy.”
Joseph hesitated for a moment but then continued, “It’s about Madam.”
The mention of “Madam” immediately prompted Jared to pause his work, lifting his Joseph’s eyes.

“What’s the matter?” he inquired with a sense of urgency.
Watching Jared’s behavior, Joseph was astonished.
After regaining his composure, Joseph took out his phone and handed it to Jared. “I just investigated. Yasmin hired several influential accounts to deliberately frame and slander Madam. The entire internet is criticizing Madam now.”

turned.
This response surprised Joseph. Jared had always been fiercely protective of his wife, ready to unleash consequences upon anyone who dared to harm her. This was evident from the fate of the maid who had worked in their villa–she was now confined in a pigsty, forced to eat swill. Her pitiable condition was beyond words.
Thus, Joseph couldn’t understand what had gotten into Jared not to take any action about Julia’s situation.
“Keep monitoring the situation. If anything unexpected occurs, inform me immediately,” Jared instructed before returning his focus to his work.
“Understood,” noted Joseph before leaving.

Chapter 123: Is Julia crying?
Julia, on the other hand, continued to stare at her phone, watching as the situation escalated further. Almost everyone was now attacking her on the internet.
“It’s time to get started,” Julia murmured, a triumphant smirk adorning her lips. She couldn’t wait to witness Yasmin’s reaction in the coming moments.
On the other hand, Yasmin felt so happy that she got herself chanting, “I’ll buy some groceries, prepare dinner, and pamper myself.”
“Julia, oh Julia! Do you really think you can stand up to me? Do you think making a topic trending is enough? You really don’t understand our industry. Dealing with you is as effortless as crushing an ant,” she gloated, a wicked grin playing on her lips.
“Yasmin, congratulations! You’ve managed to crush that wretched woman under your feet and smear her in the dirt,” Cindy exclaimed, heaping continuous praise onto Yasmin.
Listening to Cindy’s words, Yasmin felt even more pleased. Her chin was raised so high it could reach the sky.
Just then, their Facebook notifications exploded once more.
Yasmin and Cindy stared in disbelief at the video that triggered this sudden burst of activity, their eyes widening in shock.
“How… how… how is this possible? Who on earth recorded this video?!” Yasmin cried out in disbelief.
In the video, Yasmin’s face twisted with venom as she hurled insults at Julia, each utterance nastier than the other video. Cindy even chimed in, joining Yasmin in a collaborative onslaught against Julia. Towards the end of the video, Yasmin even flung a script to the ground, falsely accusing Julia of disrespecting the script, the director, and the screenwriter.
The video was so authentic that there was no sign of editing whatsoever.
Those individuals who had previously criticized Julia were left in stunned silence. Soon, they hurriedly deleted their posts and comments about Julia.
[“Oh my god, the truth is actually like this? Is this the same Yasmin I know? She’s the epitome of a scheming green tea b*tch!“]
[“Yasmin is really scary! She bullied her stepfather’s daughter and even accused Julia of being kept by someone. Isn’t she just trying to destroy her?“]
[“Unfollowed, goodbye.“]
[“Count me out too. Unfollowing now.“]
In an instant, Yasmin’s face contorted with anger, her complexion flushing crimson as if she were on the brink of explosion.
Needless to say, her battle with Julia was a complete defeat, a total disaster!
“Arrghh!” Yasmin let out a guttural roar, succumbing to a frenzy as she violently shoved objects around her, causing them to crash onto the ground.
“Julia, you vile woman! Why don’t you just die?!” Yasmin screamed like a woman possessed.
If Julia had initially released the video, Yasmin’s reaction might not have escalated to such levels.
“Yasmin, don’t let panic consume you. We still have a counterattack strategy available,” Cindy said, attempting to calm Yasmin down, though she was brimming with numerous ideas.
“What can we do?” Yasmin asked.

“Create a Facebook post right now. Mention Julia and ask her why she fabricated the video,” Cindy suggested.
Yasmin frowned. “Do you really think this will work? The video clearly has no signs of editing.”
“Don’t worry. Just post it like that. There will always be brainless fans who come forward and claim the video was edited, accusing Julia of deliberately falsifying evidence to defame you. Then we can have a few big bloggers stand up for us, and we’ll be able to salvage the situation somewhat.”
Yasmin found Cindy’s proposal reasonable, so she acted upon it.
As expected, as soon as she posted it, pretending to be pitiful, many brainless fans came forward to support her. Moreover, they even went to Julia’s Facebook profile to attack her.
[Come out and apologize! Apologize to Yasmin!]
[I despise mistresses who latch onto men for support, disgusting!]
[Our Yasmin achieved her success through her own efforts and by honing her acting skills. She’s nothing like you, who relies on leveraging your body and going through divorces. Disgusting!]
Julia’s timeline was filled with curses, and the prominent bloggers were madly typing away on their keyboards, leading the charge and drawing more people into the frenzy.
However, Julia didn’t know about it as she was currently busy chopping onions. Tears streamed relentlessly down her face, despite a bowl of water placed nearby to counteract the effect. Her vision remained blurred, yet she continued cutting the onions.
Meanwhile, Jared was seated in his car, engrossed in reading the derogatory comments aimed at Julia on his phone. His face was grim, exuding an icy aura from his eyes.
“Boss, we’ve arrived,” Joseph announced and turned around, only to see Jared’s terrifying expression.
He knew that his boss had been suppressing his anger and was on the verge of exploding soon.
“Hmm,” Jared responded in a frigid tone, opening the car door before striding purposefully into
the villa.
Upon encountering a maid within, he wasted no time in inquiring, “Where is she?”
Without even mentioning a name, the maid already knew who it was and answered knowingly, “Madam is in the kitchen.”
As such, Jared headed toward the kitchen with long strides.
The sound of approaching footsteps reached Julia’s ears, prompting her to turn her head despite the continued stream of onion–induced tears.
As Jared finally stepped into the kitchen, an intense sensation seemed to pierce through his chest, gripping his heart in an unexplainable manner.
